To add insult to injury it has a lidar sensor ...😟

Sucks having your job replaced by a robot, huh Optimus?

Optimus to $TSLA is what Metaverse was to $META. It cannot do shit and competition is improving every second

just buy two Optimi for the same price and give them a mop and bucket. they will be a trillion times more useful in the end.

I'm doing the job of the second machine. It's not as easy as it looks. During the cleaning process, the filters get clogged. Someone needs to clean the filters (clean and dirty water filters) and do other maintenance.

😂😂😂

This is pretty cool: having little robots around doing different tasks around the house or any sort of building.

Small steps

Gaussian Robotics (operating under the brand Gausium) makes this robot. Tesla didn't build it — they simply deployed it (along with others) at Giga Texas for routine floor cleaning in the lobby/showroom area.

Waiting on Gen 3

The left one is for domestic cleaning use; the right one is for business and industrial scaled cleaning

That shitty cleaning robot still requires a human lol.

🎯🎯🎯

I expect reality to become more abstract and complex than shown here. But most of all I expect simple mimicry-robotics with their limiting physics to turn into a long term failure. Once a VC dares to add true robotics to its portfolio, the romantic automata idea will sink.

Reality will be replaced by the expectation at a fraction of the cost, at 1000x the scale.

Did you know that all the chinese vacuum companies are robotic 🤖 companies 😳

Soon brother soon

Oh, for now
