They destroyed their entire home just so Hela couldn’t keep it. Was that the ultimate sacrifice… or the most expensive “you can’t have it either” move in history?

Engaging in the type of relationship (modern marriage) that usually devolves into expensive involuntary celibacy for the man, where he must sacrifice half of everything he owns if he wants out (or if she gets bored, even despite his success)… seems like a terrible life decision.

Gas in California is both the most expensive and the worst for the environment. We're importing fuel from the Bahamas on giant tankers. Meanwhile, we pay the highest gas taxes yet drive over the deepest potholes. Our taxpayers sacrifice the most and get the least in return.

Dreams are free. Success is expensive. It costs sacrifice. Discipline. Pain. Risk. Sleepless nights. Years of relentless work. Most people see the results. Few understand the price. What they call success today is the price you were willing to pay when nobody was watching. #sheikhanigroup #foodpapa #alisheikhani #papamart #comingsoon

This country was bought at a very expensive price- The blood of our brothers and sisters who thought tirelessly and fearlessly for this great nation.. Often they leaned into the unseen, the spiritual to get favour. they understood that the battle was not just physical. in their blood, the essence of one's love for his country flowed. An essence the were willing to pour, a final sacrifice to buy back not only their land but also their dignity and statutory self determination. I am honoured to sing this prayer with them many decades later. 🙏🙏 I did this song years almost a year ago and today,I still feel the same Edwin Sifuna

Colorado, we’re at a crossroads. Families depend on reliable, affordable energy — but the Democrat left is pushing a reckless forced-electrification agenda that could cost Coloradans $60–$100 billion. That means ripping out working gas furnaces, overloading an already fragile grid, and saddling families with $30,000–$60,000 retrofits. This isn’t common sense. And it isn’t the Colorado we call home. Natural gas has kept our state warm, working, and economically stable. When lawmakers rush into extreme mandates, the consequences hit every corner of Colorado: higher bills, less reliability, and policies that sacrifice rural communities for an expensive ideology. We deserve leadership that understands our energy needs and fights for affordable, reliable options — not mandates that hurt families and weaken our grid. I’m running for governor to restore balance, protect our prosperity, and put Colorado families first. Learn more and get involved at

Food Basics. Toronto. Extra lean ground beef. “Family pack.” “Always more for less.” $35.18. Regular: $24.72. Halal lean: $18.37. Same aisle. Almost half the price. Why is the regular product the expensive one? Carney said judge him by the grocery store. Then he told the country the values of Eid are Canadian values. Community. Generosity. Sacrifice. “These are Muslim values, these are Canadian values.” That’s not a grocery accident, this is controlled guidance by pricing food to normalize this forced change! That’s the country is being built. Indoctrination by survival ! Mass immigration changed the market. The shelves followed. The cheaper tray is the one they stock for the new customer. Canadian families didn’t vote to get priced out of their own food. They got a lecture about values instead. Judge him by the grocery store. The receipt already did. #cdnpoli #CanadaFirst

It is hard to watch other families give their kids things you can’t afford and wonder if your children are falling behind. But you don’t have to go into debt, pause the Baby Steps or sacrifice your family’s financial peace just to keep up. Your kids don’t need the most expensive school, the nicest car or every opportunity money can buy. They need parents who love them enough to say no, teach gratitude, model integrity and show them how to do hard things. Staying on the Baby Steps isn’t depriving your kids. You are teaching them that wisdom matters more than appearances and that money is a tool, not a measure of their worth. You aren’t failing your kids because you can’t give them everything. You are teaching them how to live like no one else so someday they can live and give like no one else.

Our fearless Indian actor manoj bajpayee said something very powerful.. politicians don’t run the country alone, bureaucrats and corporate power centres do. And honestly, I don't comprehend why people can't see it. Since 2014, billionaires have become exponentially richer while the common man is still battling inflation, unemployment, rising fuel prices, and shrinking savings. Petrol, gas, education, healthcare everything is becoming expensive, yet people are distracted with nonstop communal politics and religious hatred. It's a shame when a A secular democracy cannot survive if citizens are conditioned to worship leaders blindly while questioning nobody in power. If petrol hits ₹500 and people still say we don’t mind paying 5000 rupees extra too , then understand this your sacrifice is not building your future, it’s building corporate empires. India belongs to every citizen equally Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian. The Constitution is bigger than propaganda, and no amount of hate politics can erase the secular foundation of this country. Ask questions. Demand accountability. Stop treating politicians like gods and start treating them like public servants.

I got pretty emotional while editing this if I’m being honest. Touring is never an easy grind as it is, but leaving your 2 year old girl for an entire month during the most formative time of her life is a sacrifice that doesn’t go unnoticed. I could tell how much he missed his girls and how it was eating away at him, but it really went to show me how truly dedicated he is to his career and how much he believes in the future of Jack & Jack. Thank you to you guys for making it all worthwile and coming to the shows and bringing unbelievable energy night in and night out. As independent artists with no on the road security and traveling through 11 different countries over 28 days, all combined with how expensive tour life overseas can be at our current venue sizes, bringing the girls with felt like an impossible task. But him, Geneva, and Hayvie took it all on the chin purely out of belief in our future. Even typing this out now motivates me to do things bigger and better year after year so we can ensure he never has to leave his girls behind again… Gilinsky is truly the best dad I know and I’m proud of these 3 for managing to get through this past month without each other ❤️ -J

Everything I have always said about His Excellency Peter Obi comes down to one thing leadership built on prudence, accountability, and genuine concern for the people. Peter Obi has consistently shown a careful and disciplined approach towards the economy. He understands that governance is not about luxury, waste, or enriching a few individuals while millions suffer. Governance must be done prudently, with every kobo accounted for and directed towards improving the lives of the people. One thing that stands him out is his consistency in advocating for the reduction of the cost of governance. At a time when many public office holders focus on buying unnecessary houses, luxury properties, and expensive lounges in states they do not even govern, Peter Obi continues to preach and practice simplicity, accountability, and responsible management of public resources. Nigeria does not need leaders who see public office as an opportunity for personal enjoyment. Nigeria needs leaders who will invest in education, healthcare, security, production, and human development. Leaders who understand that public funds belong to the people and must be used for the benefit of the people. A working economy is built through discipline, production, transparency, and sacrifice not reckless spending and selfish leadership. This is the consistency Peter Obi has continued to demonstrate over the years. A new Nigeria is possible, and by the grace of God, Nigeria will be OK

Elon Musk started Zip2 from absolutely nothing in 1995 No income. No apartment. A leaky-roof office. And zero safety net The brutal reality before the massive success: In the summer of 1995, Elon walked away from a graduate path that would have given him “a scholarship and a stipend” and chose to build a startup instead “In starting the company, I had nothing. I had no income source” To survive in expensive Silicon Valley, he skipped renting an apartment entirely “We found that an office was actually cheaper than an apartment... So we got this dinky little office that had a leaky roof, um, it was just the nastiest place you can imagine” “And I lived in it too, and showered at the YMCA” Even the internet setup was pure founder survival mode. “There was an internet service provider on the floor below. So we were able to get really cheap internet access by drilling a hole in the floor and connecting to their server directly” People look at Elon today and call it luck They ignore the raw grit, uncomfortable sacrifice, and insane resourcefulness it took just to get started Before SpaceX, Tesla, Starlink, Neuralink, and xAI… It was just a broke founder building Zip2 from a tiny office with a leaky roof

$Westminster has built a country where we spend more money on the planning paperwork for a single road than it costs other nations to build an entire mountain tunnel. This isn't a system accidentally strangled by red tape: it is a highly lucrative industry. A vast priesthood of consultants and lawyers is making a fortune they have no interest in the work being done. It is corruption by bureaucracy, and working-class communities are footing the bill for projects that never even see a spade in the ground. The absolute paralysis of modern Britain was laid bare in a recent parliamentary committee. A single witness gave them the truth with both barrels, exposing the administrative vampires sucking public money dry while the work goes undone. The details are an insult to every community waiting for homes, decent transport, and cheaper energy. Take the Lower Thames Crossing. The planning application alone has swallowed more than a quarter of a billion pounds. For that exact same amount, Norway actually constructed the world’s longest road tunnel. We spent it on paper, and we have not even turned a sod of earth. This is a permission state eating itself alive. Look at HS2, the most expensive railway line on earth. Part of the reason it cost so much is that we are spending £121 million on a specific "bat tunnel" to protect a few hundred bats living in a nearby wood, a wood the line does not even pass through. Look at Hinkley Point C, the most expensive nuclear power station in human history. For eight years, developers locked in a multi-million-pound wrangle with regulators over installing an underwater "fish disco", an acoustic deterrent to stop fish swimming into the pipes. 20 years ago, we built nuclear fleets at a fraction of the cost. Today, we sacrifice national infrastructure to the gods of endless compliance. The final absurdity is the plan to reopen just 3.3 miles of an existing railway line between Bristol and Portishead, a route already built but closed during the Beeching cuts. The planning application is 80,000 pages long. Over one thousand of those pages are about bats. We have created a system that trades in paper while the real economy rots. The working class pay the price for this institutional cowardice. They pay for it in soaring energy bills, missing homes, broken transport links, and a country that cannot build the future it keeps promising. Protecting the environment is vital, but drowning ourselves in paper is not environmentalism. A system that takes 80,000 pages to clear three miles of existing track is broken. It is not governance: it is managed decline with a clipboard. It's the bureaucratic vampires drinking the country's wealth...$

The "Money-Printing" Rose: Genius Strategy or Viral Myth? We’ve all seen this video. The "smartest man in the world" turning a single rose branch into a floral empire. It’s emotional, it’s inspiring, and it looks like a cheat code for life. But before you go out and start hacking up your garden, let's separate the Horticultural Facts from the Social Media Fiction. 1. The Science is Real (Mostly) The video isn't lying about the biology. Cloning: Roses are genetically programmed to regenerate. That brown liquid? Likely a rooting hormone that tells the stem, "Stop being a branch, start being a root." Bending: This is a pro-move called "Arching." By bending the stem, you trick the plant into sending growth hormones to every single bud along the branch instead of just the tip. 2. The "Energy Pivot" The most painful part of the video is watching them snip off perfectly good rosebuds. Why? Because a plant only has so much "battery life." If it spends it all on a pretty flower today, it has nothing left for the roots tomorrow. Success is a long game. 3. The Reality Check Here’s where the video gets "flirty" with the truth: The Greenhouse Factor: Notice the industrial setup. Roses are "divas." Without perfect humidity and pest control, those cuttings are just expensive compost. It’s Not a "Machine": It’s back-breaking labor. Farming isn't a passive side hustle; it’s a lifestyle. How to Apply This to Your Life (The Productivity Version) You don't need a greenhouse to use these "Growth Hacks" in your daily routine: Pinch the Early Buds: Don't chase small, quick wins that drain your energy. Sacrifice the "early flower" to build a foundation that can support a thousand blooms later. Break Your "Apical Dominance": If you only focus on one "top" goal, your other talents go dormant. "Bend" your schedule to allow different skills to sprout. Environment > Effort: A rose won't grow in a dark room no matter how much you talk to it. If you aren't being productive, stop blaming your "willpower" and fix your environment. The takeaway? Don't just grow roses—build a system.

I spent $1.5M building our office after raising a seed round. My co-founder thought I was crazy. Here's what changed his mind... 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭: After our seed round, I looked at our team. Mostly immigrants. Working 6-day weeks. Building something incredibly hard. The office wasn't just where they worked. It was becoming their home. So I made a bet, what if we actually designed for that? The requirements I gave our real estate agent: - Shower (for ocean swims between meetings) - as close to the beach as possible, ability to quickly go surfing/kiting etc. - Big enough kitchen for a chef - Room for an actual sauna People thought I was building a vacation house, I thought: I am building a place worth the sacrifice. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤: - Found one of SF's best real estate lawyers. Negotiated hard. - Negotiated Tenant Improvements + First year for free - Effective cost: $250k (not $1.5M) Then I was extremely prescriptive with design and construction. No endless back-and-forth. I drew what I wanted. Told them to build it. Cut iteration time by 80%. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭: - Nordic vibes (keeping our European souls) - Industrial kitchen - Sauna room (yes, like our product: - Ocean access - Space that feels like home Conclusions: - This "expensive" decision already paid for itself. - In SF, recruiters charge $100k per engineer. We've closed multiple hires -because candidates walked in and said: "I want to work here." But the real ROI isn't only financial. It's this: - We do Friday AMA as a BBQs on the beach. - People actually use the surfboards. - The team's lifestyle supports the intensity of the work. EVERYONE WANTS IN, doesnt matter if events, hiring or using the space as coworking (Robert Chandler and I open it up for our portfolio companies) My co-founder's response after 3 months: "You were right." Some founders optimize for low burn rate. I optimize for: Can great people sustain this pace for years? Because great companies aren't built in one sprint. They're built by people who can go the distance. We're hiring: (Comment if you want intros to our real estate agent, lawyers or construction team - happy to connect)

WARNING - R18+ reading Diamonds from the ashes of children The information is not for the faint of heart, I thought that nothing could surprise or shock me. After studying information about Pizzagate, Adrenochrome, occultism, which the elite has been engaged in for centuries, about sacrifices, hunting people, pedophilia in the highest political circles, I became psychologically impenetrable, although at first it was very difficult. I accidentally came across a video of a girl. She is a high-level insider exposing the Illuminati and the Satanic elite. She talks about mass child trafficking, child abuse, cannibalism, tunnels, satanic rituals and other incredible things they did. She was raised in a cult and trained for the role of the Mother of Darkness. I've already heard similar things from other insiders, but one topic really hooked me. This girl talked about the various sources of profit that the elite has from one child abducted or born in a cult. Here, the party said: "First, the profit is made from the sale of child sex. Then the child is given to the ritual, they pay more money for ritual murder, even more for cannibalism. After the body is burned, a diamond is made from the ashes and sold as part of an exclusive collection. To make a diamond, only half a cup of dust is needed, so 50/100 diamonds can be obtained from one body. Some bones are dried, crushed and sold to food companies for seasonings, flour, filler in dietary supplements (this is a Satanic ritual, since human remains enter the bodies of many people). People pay them for food themselves, without suspecting anything. Thus, the income from one child is hundreds of thousands of dollars." According to reports, 800,000 children go missing in the US every year, it turns out that this is the most profitable business. According to her, there are also crematoriums on Epstein Island. Diamonds were made there from children sacrificed. There are many celebrities and other Satanists who wear "blood" diamonds/diamonds made from sacrificed children. She also said that the color of the diamond is impossible to predict and such precious stones are used in the production of fabulously expensive underwear from Victotia's Secret, studded with diamonds. What profit do they get from one child, a brief summary: $ = illegal child trafficking $$ = use for rituals and sacrifices $$$ = profit from diamond production as a reminder of the sacrifice $$$$ = selling the victim as an exclusive diamond on the market $$$$$ = sale of crushed bones to food companies, remain in food $$ = selling food to the public Bags and shoes are also made from the skin of children. Many people have probably seen photos of men from the "Red shoe club". As always, you can't trust anyone's words, so I researched this topic more. Diamonds from the dust are a sick fantasy of the victim of Satanists and this is reality. with RedpillDrifter/Jack ----- Saint Michael, lead us to destroy the DEVIL General Mike Flynn

WARNING - R18+ reading Diamonds from the ashes of children The information is not for the faint of heart, I thought that nothing could surprise or shock me. On 1 August 2018, six Zimbabweans were gunned down by the army for protesting the delay in election results. The world watched in horror as it unfolded live on international television. Many ask why Zimbabweans no longer take to the streets. The answer is simple—they once did. And they were met not only with bullets from the regime, but with betrayal from the very man they were defending. Nelson Chamisa, then the opposition leader leading the MDC Alliance, said of the protesters: “It was very stupid even for people who demonstrated. To demonstrate for the results to be released, it was stupid… I am not insulting them, but… it was premature, it was unstrategic, and open to be manipulated by the enemy.” Those words struck deeper, way-way deeper than many imagine because they came from the mouth of hope. Unless this betrayal is acknowledged and those words walked back, Zimbabweans will not rise. Not because they are cowards, but because the last time they stood up in huge numbers, they were shot down by the regime; and told they were “stupid” by the leader they thought they were standing up for. When bullets kill the body and words kill the spirit, what then do you expect of the people left behind in Zimbabwe? There is a long and painful history of betrayal by the opposition. In 2008, I was the first journalist to break the story of post-election violence on South Africa’s eNCA news station. Over 400 lives were lost, yet the opposition; then led by Morgan Tsvangirai, did nothing meaningful to support the victims. Instead, they entered government and enjoyed the perks of power. Nelson Chamisa even gave an interview to The Globe and Mail of Canada, justifying the need for expensive cars in the GNU because, according to him, such cars brought “respect.” That one interview told the story of a movement that had shifted from the people to self-interest. They forgot the very communities that had risked everything to vote them into power. And that is precisely why those communities will no longer put their lives on the line for politicians who abandon them at the first taste of comfort. Until this betrayal is addressed—until opposition leaders begin to fight back with integrity and sacrifice; ZANUPF will remain in power, sustained not only by fear, but by the absence of a credible alternative willing to confront it. The current government of Zimbabwe will never change; but Nelson Chamisa has an opportunity to fix the mess he created by calling citizens fighting for a fair election; STUPID. He must confront the hard truth that real leadership begins with accountability. He needs to publicly acknowledge that calling the 2018 protesters “stupid” was a betrayal of the very people who risked their lives for democracy. He must campaign for the Motlanthe Report to be implemented and for the victims’ families to be fully compensated. One of the family members wrote to me, telling me they have no one helping them. After such deliberate betrayals, those around them will never take to the streets again.
