It is hard to watch other families give their kids things you can’t afford and wonder if your children are falling behind. But you don’t have to go into debt, pause the Baby Steps or sacrifice your family’s financial peace just to keep up. Your kids don’t need the most expensive school, the nicest car or every opportunity money can buy. They need parents who love them enough to say no, teach gratitude, model integrity and show them how to do hard things. Staying on the Baby Steps isn’t depriving your kids. You are teaching them that wisdom matters more than appearances and that money is a tool, not a measure of their worth. You aren’t failing your kids because you can’t give them everything. You are teaching them how to live like no one else so someday they can live and give like no one else.

Our fearless Indian actor manoj bajpayee said something very powerful.. politicians don’t run the country alone, bureaucrats and corporate power centres do. And honestly, I don't comprehend why people can't see it. Since 2014, billionaires have become exponentially richer while the common man is still battling inflation, unemployment, rising fuel prices, and shrinking savings. Petrol, gas, education, healthcare everything is becoming expensive, yet people are distracted with nonstop communal politics and religious hatred. It's a shame when a A secular democracy cannot survive if citizens are conditioned to worship leaders blindly while questioning nobody in power. If petrol hits ₹500 and people still say we don’t mind paying 5000 rupees extra too , then understand this your sacrifice is not building your future, it’s building corporate empires. India belongs to every citizen equally Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian. The Constitution is bigger than propaganda, and no amount of hate politics can erase the secular foundation of this country. Ask questions. Demand accountability. Stop treating politicians like gods and start treating them like public servants.

I got pretty emotional while editing this if I’m being honest. Touring is never an easy grind as it is, but leaving your 2 year old girl for an entire month during the most formative time of her life is a sacrifice that doesn’t go unnoticed. I could tell how much he missed his girls and how it was eating away at him, but it really went to show me how truly dedicated he is to his career and how much he believes in the future of Jack & Jack. Thank you to you guys for making it all worthwile and coming to the shows and bringing unbelievable energy night in and night out. As independent artists with no on the road security and traveling through 11 different countries over 28 days, all combined with how expensive tour life overseas can be at our current venue sizes, bringing the girls with felt like an impossible task. But him, Geneva, and Hayvie took it all on the chin purely out of belief in our future. Even typing this out now motivates me to do things bigger and better year after year so we can ensure he never has to leave his girls behind again… Gilinsky is truly the best dad I know and I’m proud of these 3 for managing to get through this past month without each other ❤️ -J

Everything I have always said about His Excellency Peter Obi comes down to one thing leadership built on prudence, accountability, and genuine concern for the people. Peter Obi has consistently shown a careful and disciplined approach towards the economy. He understands that governance is not about luxury, waste, or enriching a few individuals while millions suffer. Governance must be done prudently, with every kobo accounted for and directed towards improving the lives of the people. One thing that stands him out is his consistency in advocating for the reduction of the cost of governance. At a time when many public office holders focus on buying unnecessary houses, luxury properties, and expensive lounges in states they do not even govern, Peter Obi continues to preach and practice simplicity, accountability, and responsible management of public resources. 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞'𝐬 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤: - Found one of SF's best real estate lawyers. Negotiated hard. - Negotiated Tenant Improvements + First year for free - Effective cost: $250k (not $1.5M) Then I was extremely prescriptive with design and construction. No endless back-and-forth. I drew what I wanted. Told them to build it. Cut iteration time by 80%. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭: - Nordic vibes (keeping our European souls) - Industrial kitchen - Sauna room (yes, like our product: - Ocean access - Space that feels like home Conclusions: - This "expensive" decision already paid for itself. - In SF, recruiters charge $100k per engineer. We've closed multiple hires -because candidates walked in and said: "I want to work here." But the real ROI isn't only financial. It's this: - We do Friday AMA as a BBQs on the beach. - People actually use the surfboards. - The team's lifestyle supports the intensity of the work. On 1 August 2018, six Zimbabweans were gunned down by the army for protesting the delay in election results. The world watched in horror as it unfolded live on international television. Many ask why Zimbabweans no longer take to the streets. The answer is simple—they once did. And they were met not only with bullets from the regime, but with betrayal from the very man they were defending. Nelson Chamisa, then the opposition leader leading the MDC Alliance, said of the protesters: “It was very stupid even for people who demonstrated. To demonstrate for the results to be released, it was stupid… I am not insulting them, but… it was premature, it was unstrategic, and open to be manipulated by the enemy.” Those words struck deeper, way-way deeper than many imagine because they came from the mouth of hope. Unless this betrayal is acknowledged and those words walked back, Zimbabweans will not rise. Not because they are cowards, but because the last time they stood up in huge numbers, they were shot down by the regime; and told they were “stupid” by the leader they thought they were standing up for. When bullets kill the body and words kill the spirit, what then do you expect of the people left behind in Zimbabwe? There is a long and painful history of betrayal by the opposition. Over 400 lives were lost, yet the opposition; then led by Morgan Tsvangirai, did nothing meaningful to support the victims. Instead, they entered government and enjoyed the perks of power. Nelson Chamisa even gave an interview to The Globe and Mail of Canada, justifying the need for expensive cars in the GNU because, according to him, such cars brought “respect.” That one interview told the story of a movement that had shifted from the people to self-interest. They forgot the very communities that had risked everything to vote them into power. And that is precisely why those communities will no longer put their lives on the line for politicians who abandon them at the first taste of comfort. Until this betrayal is addressed—until opposition leaders begin to fight back with integrity and sacrifice; ZANUPF will remain in power, sustained not only by fear, but by the absence of a credible alternative willing to confront it. The current government of Zimbabwe will never change; but Nelson Chamisa has an opportunity to fix the mess he created by calling citizens fighting for a fair election; STUPID. He must confront the hard truth that real leadership begins with accountability. He needs to publicly acknowledge that calling the 2018 protesters “stupid” was a betrayal of the very people who risked their lives for democracy. He must campaign for the Motlanthe Report to be implemented and for the victims’ families to be fully compensated. One of the family members wrote to me, telling me they have no one helping them.
