U do realize most of 🇨🇳’s food is imported from the US, right? No analyst seems to want to discuss this aspect. US consumers will feel some economic pain in the marketplace, but their 🇨🇳 counterparts will feel the pain of hunger as prices skyrocket & food supplies become scarce

"THE AMERICAN PEOPLE MUST PREPARE FOR WAR" Chinese leader Xi Jinping is preparing China for war. What makes me wonder is why the US is not preparing its citizens for a conflict with China. If Xi Jinping says that China is going to war, the question is who will China go to war with. The reasonable thing is that it is Taiwan and indirectly the US that is the enemy. China and North Korea are preparing their citizens for war while the US seems to live in some form of denial. I am convinced that the US is preparing militarily for a conflict. However, you also have to take responsibility for your citizens. What are your thoughts? 📌#China #Taiwan

🚨 China just announced — on Saturday, after Trump’s Beijing summit — that it will reduce tariffs on American farm products. This is being framed as a Trump trade win. Here is the part that framing leaves out. US farm exports to China collapsed 65.7% last year. They fell to $8.4 billion. China had been one of the top three buyers of American crops. Trump’s tariffs closed that market. China retaliated with its own tariffs. American farmers lost a year of sales while Brazil and Argentina took the business. Brazil’s soybean exports to China hit a record 85 million metric tons in 2025. Today’s “win” is China agreeing to partly reopen the door the US closed.

TRUMP JUST NOW ON THE CHINA TRADE DEAL: "We have the confines of a very strong deal with China. The most exciting part of the deal was the opening up of China to US businesses. I don't think I'll have to talk with Xi about the final details directly but I'm ready to do it like I did with the UK." White House Economic Advisor Kevin Hassett said today that when Trump is back from the Middle East, he will announce his next trade deal. If we get India or Japan soon...and then China to follow that up... The street is going to love this & if the average tariff rate starts to come down due to the negotiations (aka the WH lowers rates in order to get more concessions), Powell will have more liberty to cut rates due to less fears around tariff inflation. More trade deals, more investments in the US, lower rates...it could all set up the markets to gain serious momentum into the second half of the year.
