Suddenly, they want a massive federal bureaucracy like the SAVE Act to force millions of eligible Americans to dig up certified birth certificates just to vote even though almost every state already has voter ID laws on the books. Apparently, buying a deadly weapon should be hassle free, but casting a ballot requires a security clearance.

Majority of gun crimes are committed with stolen guns, majority from cars. A major solution to help the shooting crisis is better gun storage. If you’re gonna just keep it in your car, you should have a special kind of safe for it, not just sitting in your glove box.

I'm sorry. But which constitutional amendment gives the unabridged right to vote? The second amendment has no qualifications. The 15th amendment applied to race but was silent on the right of women. The 19th amendment applied to women. The second amendment applies to the people.

The premise to compare #2A & voting sounds fair but it isn't. I am not saying voting rights aren't protected in the Constitution. I am saying the comparison is flawed. #2A is the ONLY ONE that specifically says: "shall not be infringed." SCOTUS has ruled states can set times and places for voting per the #Constitution AND grants Congress oversight for FEDERAL elections. However, #SAVEact isn't simply about #VoterID laws. Many Dem states have those laws. The 'red line' is requiring #ProofOfCitizenship AND severely limiting mailing in ballots. THERE'S NO EVIDENCE OF WIDESPREAD #VOTERFRAUD OR WIDESPREAD #MAILINFRAUD. NO EVIDENCE OF WIDESPREAD NON- CITIZENS VOTING. (Ask @Heritage) Worse, this bill would cost states MILLIONS, increase govt bureaucracy unnecessarily, AND hurt many seniors, poor, and divorced women, resulting in #VoterSuppression. Lastly, this bill still would NOT 'satisfy' MAGA in the future if their candidates lost in the future. Those are best arguments IMO. You can lead a horse to water but a MAGA horse will 99% of the time deflect, attack the messenger, use half-truths, or just laugh it off.
