Would someone please come and measure the appalling air #pollution taking place right NOW at Gerrardstown, Ballyboughal. We're unable to breathe here as the stench of slurry is so bad it's entering the house with all doors and windows closed! This is extremely dangerous to health

Good news for commuters, from Monday April 20th, a new early morning service will run from Drogheda to Dublin Connolly, serving Donabate and Malahide. Train departs Drogheda at 6.05am and arrives in Dublin at 7:09am.

Works are progressing at the spectacular Baldoyle Community Centre and Racecourse Park Carpark. Completely funded by Fingal County Council through its Community Development & Parks & Green Infrastructure Departments. When constructed, the Baldoyle Community Centre will prioritise sustainability and accessibility and will have a green roof and rain-garden to promote biodiversity and ecology. The circular design will minimise visual disruption to the surrounding area and there will be ample bike parking to encourage the use of sustainable transport. There will also be accessible parking and electric vehicle charging points. The central sports hall will have three courts and the overall complex will have four multi-purpose community rooms as well as externally accessible sports rooms for use by the likes of Baldoyle United FC, Na Dubh Ghall GAA Club and Suttonians Rugby Football Club who use pitches in Racecourse Park. Fingal County Council want to sell public land to Apruva to build a Hindu temple for a 50% discount. Instead of asking for €850k - money sorely needed and which could be used to serve the people of Fingal - they're asking only €425k. Needless to say I will oppose this measure and do my best to take this outrageous discount off the table, if not prevent the sale altogether. We don't need a Hindu temple, we need basic amenities for the Irish people: housing, special needs units, care facilities and more.

The Irish presidential election nomination process is highly undemocratic, designed to keep out non-regime voices from challenging the cosy consensus. However, Fingal County Council has a standing order in place, that if a minimum of 4 Cllrs. invite you to the council chamber on the day of a "special meeting" you can at least make your case and answer any questions the Cllrs. may have. Any candidate seriously seeking the nomination for the presidency, write me an email at patrick.quinlan@cllrs.fingal.ie, and no matter whether I agree with you or not, I'll work to ensure that Fingal County Councillors at least hear you out.

Fingal county council recently communicated to the public, "Council makes changes to organisational structure to meet challenges." Inside these press releases, they stated, that one of these challenges was the rapidly growing population of Fingal. At the meeting, I raised the real question: Where exactly is this population surge coming from when Irish births are collapsing? It's obvious: Mass immigration of non-nationals flooding the area, seeing new developments being snatched up, to between 80 - 90% by foreign nationals, is the source of the county's population growth. Every other councillor jumped to defend government policy and avoid the truth. As always, there's only one councillor in Fingal prepared to call it what it is, a replacement. Demographics are destiny. It's time to stop restructuring our country around replacement and start rebuilding the future for Irish people and their children. The only way we do that is by taking more and more seats in the next set of elections.

Myself and Stephen Redmond went over to Fingal County Council yesterday, to hand deliver our objection to the proposed development at Salmons in Blanchardstown. Nationally, 48% of all registered homeless people in the state are foreign nationals, 'build it, and they will come' to be homeless for a few months and then waddle into social housing at the taxpayers' expense.

I want to commend our Sinn Féin Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins, the Irish Government, and our European partners, who have worked together to deliver a total investment of nearly €1 billion in all-Ireland rail in recent months.

Today I brought an emergency motion to Fingal County Council calling on the Government to invoke Protocol 21 and opt out of the EU Migration Pact. It was rejected. Ireland is being signed up to binding EU migration quotas that were never put to the Irish people in a referendum. Protocol 21 is a legal opt-out that exists specifically to protect Irish sovereignty and this Government refuses to even discuss using it. Most politicians won't touch this topic. I will. The people of Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart didn't elect me to stay quiet on the issue that matters most to them. Mass migration is reshaping this country at a pace and scale that nobody voted for and the response from the political establishment is silence, deflection, or accusations of bad faith against anyone who raises it. I will keep bringing these motions. I will keep asking the questions others won't and I will keep representing the people who sent me to that chamber to speak plainly and without apology.
