Simplicity is at the heart of great software. This is one of the reasons why Claude Code has been sticky for me. As a builder, I love planning and brainstorming, and this is now a key focus of Claude Code. I use Shift + Tab a lot to cycle between brainstorming, planning, and execution. This functionality provides the appropriate interface for me to either be very involved or less involved as I please. This works particularly well when building out new and complex features or entire new projects. This saves a huge amount of time. It allows me to tune Claude Code to execute and build more effectively. It also builds a loop of trust, and I often (surprisingly) find Claude Code asking for clarifications when it's confused. Coding agents don't normally do that. I have shared before on the power of brainstorming with AI for longer times. Try it and you will not be disappointed. Vibe coding is fun, but pair it with intentional development cycles, and you watch how far you can take a project with coding agents today.

Here is the tool I built yesterday in Claude code in maybe 10-20 minutes? It truly baffles me when people say “the AI bubble” this simple tool would’ve took devs 2-5 days and would have cost me 500$-1000$ Claude code made it for me on a 20$ monthly subscription, and a free Gemini api key. I actually want to preform an experiment asking developers how much they would charge for such a tool to get a consensus on how much money Claude Code has saved me.

GitHub connected, CLAUDE.md, Skills, subagents and Hooks ready. Claude Code runs on its own, no more terminal setup, just panels running and outputs to review. - VSCode: when I need to review code by hand. An interesting issue with Tesla Robotaxi where it took us to a Starbucks, but the Google data had the incorrect location. At drop off we were 0.2 miles from the Starbucks, so we had a short walk. Is there a way the Tesla AI team could add functionality in the app so riders can update map info to correct errors or inaccuracies on the underlying map data and then this propagates to the fleet? Being able to do this with a pin drop on the map instead of having to use an address might make this very easy and user friendly! Or, as a bigger ask, would it be possible for the car to be able to use visual images on its own to look for a Starbucks sign and on the fly, get us closer and update the map data on its own?

I like my Laravel seeders fast. I use recycle() to dodge N+1 model creations. Another trick: when a model needs an image saved on disk, generating a unique one for each record is painfully slow. And honestly, images aren’t immediately essential. So I dispatch that work to a job. My local projects always run Horizon, so images get generated in the background while I keep coding. A local environment you can reset instantly with random data is a game-changer.

OWLMAXXING for the Neck One of the most Underrated muscle groups to train: the neck supports the brain, and being strong in it means less neck pain, better athletic movement, and a thicker neck enhancing aesthetics. I like to OWLMAXX with this simple dumbbell rotation exercise done on both sides of the head, the front of the head, and the back of the head as well. The aim of the game is to take the neck through extended ranges of motion in a controlled manner with added weight. You can also use a small weight plate if you're just starting with this exercise, or just the weight of the head itself hanging off the bench is a great place to start.
