So it is official, the Green Isle hotel ☘️has been sold. I have been assured when communicating with both the hotel and the Dept of Justice CET in the past year that it will NOT be used as an IPAS centre when the sale goes through. However, I don't put much trust in anything the government says and if the new owner called up Jim and said, "lets help me make millions off my new pad" what will the Minister do? Locals are rightly very concerned, the last thing Clondalkin needs is another IPAS centre! PS, it would be nice if I didn't have to spend so much time dealing with IPAS centres 🙈, but until we get rid of this government and elect people who will prioritise Irish people in their homeland this is going to be a consistent issue. Independent Ireland

I've contacted the two government TDs in the area, Emer Higgins and Shane Moynihan to ask them to secure a guarantee from the Minister for Justice that this hotel will not be converted into an IPAS centre. They have not replied. Please email or call them both to ask them the same question.
