So how many times have you been victimised by women? How many times have you been terrified by the presence of a female stranger? Women live with that fear all the time. We take many many precautions to not fall prey to male strangers and yet virtually every single one of us has been a victim of male violence or male sexual violence in one form or another.

@SexMattersOrg @BBCiPlayer Idea for a TV show that Nolan should go on. I'm outraged and disgusted by Nolan's complete dismissal of the known risks to women & deliberate misrepresentation of what McAnena was saying. Complaint will be made. To dispute facts about risks to women is blatant misogyny by BBC.

@SexMattersOrg @BBCiPlayer Men …. In the name of all that’s holy, they’re called men. Please please please have a guest on who speaks the truth rather than this nonsensical cowardly language. Male people is mental.

@SexMattersOrg @BBCiPlayer This is the daftest thing. *Of course* a significant minority of men are a threat. Spluttering about it doesn’t change the simple fact.

@zeno001 @SexMattersOrg @BBCiPlayer She’s right. We all know it. It might not be a majority of men, but I think anyone who saw that will know exactly which category of men you belong in.

@SexMattersOrg @BBCiPlayer You embarrassed yourself.

@SexMattersOrg @BBCiPlayer Why are you ignoring reality, Stephen?

@SexMattersOrg @BBCiPlayer You spoke to @DerryBanShee with contempt. Surely you are better briefed than this considering your Stonewall podcast. If not, you need to reconsider your producers. Absolutely shameful @StephenNolan

@SexMattersOrg @BBCiPlayer This you bro…?
