Troops of the 7th Armored Brigade and Egoz Commando Unit "completed an operation to achieve operational control and clear the area north of the Saluki stream" of Hezbollah infrastructure, the IDF says. The IDF says the operation is part of its efforts "to strengthen operational control in southern Lebanon and remove the direct threat to the communities of the Galilee Panhandle and Metula." Statement of the National Task Force West Philippine Sea 27 April 2025 | Manila, Philippines An Inter-Agency Maritime Operation (IAMO) at Pag-asa Cay 1, Cay 2, and Cay 3 and its surrounding waters was completed this morning, 27 April 2025. This coordinated effort involved the Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard, and Philippine National Police - Maritime Group, reinforcing Philippine authorities’ routine and lawful exercise of maritime domain awareness and jurisdiction over the West Philippine Sea. Four (4) composite teams aboard rubber boats were deployed to the cays. Teams One and Two reached Cay-1, Team Three arrived at Cay-2, and Team Four landed at Cay-3.
