I was joined by former Zimbabwean minister, Saviour Kasukuwere who was removed from the sanctions list on Monday. I explained that sanctions are used by the regime in Harare as cover to explain its failures and corrupt rule. I also talked about how corruption is the bedrock of Zimbabwe's problems, and how there is NO genuine political will to tackle it from within the Zimbabwean government.
