Helen his wife who is my dads sister also wanted this and i can absolutely agree they both wanted a secure boarder and equal right & pay for legal immigrants in the united farm workers. To have that individual stand up as if knew what my family actually stood for is disgraceful

Cesar Chavez’s was against illegal immigration because you can’t enforce any union contracts with unfettered immigration. Contracts are not made with illegal immigrants, that’s why he opposed it.
