An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion is a lay Catholic who assists in distributing the Eucharist during Mass when there is a genuine need, such as a lack of ordinary ministers (priests or deacons) or an exceptionally large congregation. Their role is temporary and permitted only when necessary. Permission for these ministers is ultimately granted by the Diocesan Bishop, who may authorize their use in his diocese. In light of the names Anneke Lucas mentioned, like the former Canadian prime minister who is dead now, but is the father of the current one. It is being shared all over the internet now. So they're instructing people to join to the offering of Christ on the cross their own lives. Then in the Catholic Catechism 1368 it says "...the Eucharist, the sacrifice of Christ becomes also the sacrifice of the members of his body, and that Christ's sacrifice present on the altar makes it possible for all generations of Christians to be united with his offering." If there is real intimacy, conflict is actually unavoidable. Because we are all different. The real indicator of health in a relationship isn’t the lack of conflict, it is the quality of our repair.
