Doing concrete sucks, every step of the way sucks. I’m an electrician and have to do concrete. And it sucks every time.

The massive chunk of concrete is from the original construction of the development. Often times trucks will just dump remainder of concrete in what was at the time dirt. It’s totally normal to see a 3’ x 3’ cured pile of concrete. Once final grade begins it gets buried and voila
