🎉 Congrats to Team Ninja, PlatinumGames, and Microsoft for the launch of Ninja Gaiden 4! Now I can finally talk — Ninja Gaiden 4 is absolute peak, easily my favorite game of the year 🔥 I’m honestly shocked by how good it is. I had high expectations, but damn — it feels amazing to play! It’s super fun, incredibly tight, and far better than I even hoped for. PlatinumGames absolutely nailed it — the responsiveness, the combat flow, the tension, the aggression of enemies, the pure try-hard challenge... it’s all there. 💪 Massive props to them, and of course to Team Ninja for perfectly supervising everything and ensuring that unmistakable Ninja Gaiden DNA shines through. 🥷 While I’m personally not a huge fan of Yakumo’s physical design, his gameplay is crazy fun, and playing as Ryu Hayabusa once again feels like coming home for long-time NG fans. ❤️ I’ve already started recording content — still getting used to the new combat system and changes, but I can already tell this might be the hardest Ninja Gaiden ever. Could it be that Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge is finally about to be dethroned? 👀 I’m just so happy with the final product. While Septemburg has two of the most annoying "areas"/"rooms" in the game (the NES Ninja Gaiden 2 wind area + lighting AND the whole murder of crows that form a mob), it has one of the easiest bosses. Fortunately, you can skip 3/4 of the area with the fishing rod (+⚡️trinket)

One thing I do not understand about Ninja Theory right now is they showed they are capable of making great hack and slash gameplay with Devil May Cry: Reboot Why not make another one from a different IP? Why all they do now is Hellblade? Boring gameplay

So many times in anime and movies, someone jumped in the air for an attack and the guy dodged the attack while he was in the air, so he redirected the hit of the attack, he definetly would have not landed like a braindead bot without trying to turn and hit the enemy, so it totally makes sense. The AI looks more dynamic, it's looks alive and that's cool. So that attack is totally so natural in my book. As I said, we could discuss about other attacks and the tracking of them in Ninja Gaiden 4, but that one ? I would die on a hill to say that attack is totally legit and I'm so glad that it is exactly like this. Like I absolutely defend NG2 Alexei, Volf, Liz and other bosses attacks. I could mention also NG2, NG3RE, Nioh , Wo Long and Stranger of Paradise, because in so many years, I NEVER saw anybody complaining about the SAME KIND of thing and attack like in those games, but when it comes into NG4, people will find any EXCUSES to hate it and find issues, even when there are not. But some people that are just happy to find something to bring on their NG4 hater agenda. Here some quick examples and most of those people that are complaining about that attack in NG4, are the same that praise those games, only because there no Ninja Gaiden name on it, so there is no hate agenda to bring on vs them 😅

I think it's fair to say that all boys growing up in the 80s went through a serious ninja phase (or at least some sort of martial arts). It was one of the defining childhood obsessions for a whole generation. I took up Judo and Karate for 3 years. I remember the toys and merchandise: knock-off ninja figures, black outfits, headbands, plastic swords, and especially shuriken (throwing stars) that every kid seemed to own or want. Games like Shinobi (1987) fit that sentiment perfectly. A badass ninja protagonist? Legendary. Throwing a shuriken to kill enemies? Epic! Bonus stages with even more shurikens? You bet! Great game... but also very, very hard. So, were you a ninja?

Today I'm helping showcase a new ninja tool viewer website made by Yeo 𒉭 with feedback provided by me. This website is to help Naruto Storm Connections players so they'll never have to run onto the game because they didn't have those in the moment answers they were in need of on a character's ninja tool capabilities. The video gives you a simulation of the in game character select where you can sort through character iterations, view each ninja tool set a character possesses, select an item to get a partial match for who is able to use it in game, see the details of each item and their cooldown times.
