Maybe a deliberate leak? The Ukrainians could release thousands of balloons on the prevailing wind and give the Russians the problem of determining which are carrying drones.

The idea was out there since the Chinese balloon incident over the us. The cargo was the size of a bus …. How many drones would fit in a container… ?

I'm curious why there aren't drones whose sole job is to pickup, carry and drop solar powered recharging bases deeper and deeper into Russian territory, in a chain. Drones could fly to one station, recharge, then the next and so on.

Great idea - there have been stories about this for weeks but this is probably the first time there have been photos. (In WW2 Japan bombed mainland USA using balloons and the jet stream - did little damage but nothing new)

I sent this very design to the UAF 3 years ago. But using mylar balloons with Hydrogen gas. Mylar to confuse the radar, H2 for a big boom if they shoot it. Drone drops and glides with preset GPS cord's. Wee Me!

Is it possible that the balloon material is transparent to radar? The drone itself is quite small so I imagine it's hard to track and deal with. Interesting delivery method.
