Extremely sick weapon

I once read a memoir of a German soldier on the Eastern Front and the scene that stuck with me the best was getting hit by a 2 hour bombardment from these at the Battle of Kursk. Kicked up so much dirt they lost 2 men from their squad who got buried and suffocated.

Imagine you’re some chuddy scientist who’s been fumbling the V-rockets for like 7 years at this point and you hear about this. I’d be kicking myself.

Shelling Nazis must've felt so good. Firing off artillery knowing you're sending it to some fascist who wants you exterminated must've been cathartic.

As a 40 year old it’s crazy how badly this mogs S.C.UD. Missles which were like constantly on the news when I was a kid. This shit looks like a mechwarrior weapon

This must have had a huge psychological effect. Imagine being a German soldier and THOUSANDS of explosions are going off all around you from god knows where. Complete chaos and destruction. Brilliant weapon. Very economical too, just a regular truck with a missile rack.
