How does a 7’2 pro go from a tense, awkward free throw to this fluid, relaxed motion in under two weeks… without rebuilding his form? When Moses came back to work with Coach Tommy, his shot had turned into over-grip, guide hand flying, high, forced release and the ball stopped listening. We didn’t fix it by talking about his elbow. We fixed it by changing energy and constraints: – Ball roll so both hands share the upward swing – Deep distance calibration with flatter ball flights – Heavy ball, mini ball, oversize ball → back to regular – Different airspace + elastic hops to reorganize his system In a couple of sessions his free throw was visibly different and far more functional under stress.

Kawhi Leonard said he’s never been on a team that needed this much scoring from him, but it’s going to keep being an emphasis. “Especially with the team we have now. I’ve never really been in this situation. I more try to get guys the ball and just sharing it… But the coaches need me to be aggressive the entire game. Just a different evolution. Me trying to shoot more threes and trying to evolve my game to today’s game.” He said he’s fine with his 3P% going down if it makes him and the team better overall.

If you suffer from a HOOK SHOT (or block), this is my number 1 drill to fix it! 🔹A hook shot comes from having an excessive “in to out” path, with a face excessively closed to that path 🔹Place an alignment stick behind the ball, half a foot on the inside of the ball line 🔹Place another stick in front of the ball on the outside of the ball line 🔹Now you have a training space where you can’t come from too far inside the ball, giving you a much more neutral path or even an out to in path To ensure the face isn’t closing too much through the impact area, check your grip isn’t too strong or that the arms aren’t rolling over too much which can cause the face to close Hook gone! PS: Check out my online academy for hundreds of drills just like this👇🏼
