eye timelapse

This is so pretty 🥹 I wanted to ask how many layers you use throughout? With the sketch of the eye and then the coloring!! Do you color the eye a base color and then add the other colors and shading on top of a new layer?

i used 4 layers total, including the sketch! i just make a layer above the sketch for the base of the eye, and then a layer for the eye lash, then i alpha lock the base and just paint on top of it, all on that same layer :-D! it's scuffed but i tried writing it out LMFAO

It's beautiful. I love the array of colors that highlight the details of the eyes but is also super subtle. This is great. What sort of brush do you use that gets that thick but smooth and blended coloring?
