The way you are testing is inherently flawed LDR is bugged for Dummies, they have 1000 base HP so you get the items max damage at 2500hp, each 100 HP you add to them counts as bonushp whereas ingame you wouldnt get anywhere close to it.

@Spideraxe30 Full tooltip: The dmg cap is only against non champions. It also tracks all the bonus damage it gives you from both the proc dmg and the bonus lethality which is really cool
