I think I've figured it out, the goal with these clips is actually to make the viewer so frustrated that they fly to california to go do the job themselves for free. It's brilliant.

i’m still struggling to see how the robot actually did anything useful in that video. it pulls a rack on wheels and moved a piece of plastic from one location to another….

Really amazing… Instead of buying a two-wheeled robot for a simple task, BMW executives purchased four expensive, slow-moving robots to factory. Or BMW is still testing them and after a year they will give robots back?

Sorry, but that’s another example of something that could equally be done by a wheeled based semi humanoid.

Figure can already handle so many tasks — truly impressive! No wonder it’s the leading startup in the embodied robotics space. But if it’s only about the work shown in the video, is a humanoid form really necessary? Couldn’t we make the robot design simpler?
