"Didn't agree with any of the tyres today, no, a very very hard race, I can tell you it was a really really tough race, one being extremely hot, so yeah I had, my start wasn't really very good to be honest, my getaway was poor but then I was on the attack, obviously got past Charles and I thought it wasn't looking too bad in the first few laps with George, I was kind of holding on for a second and then the rear just dropped off on every set, for some reason the balance was very open, very difficult and I think we, I mean on Friday we were down six tenths just in straight line speed, and I have to go and see what the case was today but I'm sure it was not insignificant, but also just grip wise we just couldn't keep up with everyone today, so a very tough one but I'm grateful for the points, the team did a great job with the strategy and with the pit stops, the boys worked so hard on the pit stops so we were proud of them and yeah, not the result we wanted but we got the points atleast." So the morning is always terrible, it’s super windy, crazy hot track conditions which is not really comparable to something that we end up experiencing here.” “But still lots, lots of learnings, understanding the tyres and how they operate in the window and then trying to understand just how to get this car in the right window. Try and optimise the car for next week so we can have a bit of a better balance.” “And just in general,a good solid week with good mileage both on Charles’ side and my side, so I’m really grateful for that.
