Claude Fable 5 and Opus 5 are #1 when it comes to UI. GPT 5.6 Sol and Grok 4.6 don't come anywhere close to the design capabilities that Claude models have. Even though Fable 5 and Opus 5 are slow and expensive I keep finding myself reaching for them for design. This hero section was made with Fable 5 and Opus 5.

FABLE 5 JUST RECREATED NEW YORK CITY IN BLENDER. I connected Blender to Fable 5 and in like 20 minutes, it remade the entire cityscape of NYC It started by getting data of the buildings from public sources, THEN began building it (imo this is a smarter move than what Opus 4.8 would've done) So theoretically, this entire build is up to scale too Fable 5, welcome back.

Opus 5 took it in one prompt. Opus 5 significantly outperforms Fable 5 at marketing videos, and it is not close. Watch this and remember Opus 5 made it.

this is f*cking gold. I told Fable 5 it's a retiring engineer on its last week, and its final task is to leave everything behind for the team replacing it. It read my entire git history. Every mistake, every dead end, every fix that finally worked. Then it started writing them into skill files so the cheaper models replacing it never repeat what I got wrong. Fable leaves July 12. Fable 5 totally crushed our new contest, but it cost 6x more than Opus 4.8! We gave 4 models the same prompt: build three self-contained HTML5 canvas scenes with real physics demos Prompts: — A train derailing off a broken bridge into the water — Two cars jumping off ramps and colliding mid-air over a canyon — A monster truck crushing a row of parked cars Outputs: Fable 5: 62,158 tokens, $3.12 GPT 5.5: 37,753 tokens, $1.14 Opus 4.8: 22,280 tokens, $0.56 GLM 5.2: 36,246 tokens, $0.08 Fable 5 did all three scenes at A+. The crashes looked real, things fell and broke the right way, and nothing went through the ground or floated. GPT 5.5 was the closest to Fable. In the Bigfoot show, we think GPT was even a little better. GLM 5.2 did not win any scene, but it was the cheapest by far. Fable is the best pick for quality, but you pay more for it.

I didn’t expect Grok’s video model to improve this much. Today, when I was generating a video with Seedance 2.0, I found the results weren’t very good. So I tried using the exact same source material and prompt in Grok instead. To my surprise, Grok actually produced better results than Seedance 2.0. I’ve put the prompt and source material in the comments, so if you’re interested, you can give it a try too. The left side shows the video generated by Grok, and the right side shows the video generated by Seedance 2.0.
