The hands are doing most of the character work here. One arm opening while the other stays planted on the hip makes the attitude readable before the face even changes—great body language in the rig.

How much of a difference does the update make?

Its a few subtle changes, but i think it elevates the model a lot! For example, I linked the shoulder movement to the eyebrows for either more tensed or relaxed look, delayed body movement compared to the head and added a slight body/head bounce when talking for less stiffness
