the ganges is a powerful force... i remember this day clearer than most days in my life. i got sucked down into the deepest parts of the river valley, so deep there was no blue, no surface, no water.. just darkness. pitch black. when you’re that deep you curl into a ball and cover your head so you don’t get knocked out on jagged rock... no life vest, just me and the current. every time i saw nothing but black another wave smashed me into a rock and launched me up just long enough to breathe, then back into darkness. at the deepest points my lungs were empty and my body froze... at one point i gave up. said bye to myself. gulped river water and sank deeper, eyes closed. right when i was done i got pushed up one last time and heard my friend screaming to swim to the beach... too late, i was dead center of the current. people on the shore yelling my name. my body was empty, not even enough energy to paddle. i saw a huge rock and reached out, it swept past me but i caught it with two fingers. the river pulled my legs south while i dragged my body up. somehow i clawed one foot onto the rock... only my face made it up. i felt warm and wet, thought i pissed myself, but it was blood pouring down my body. i couldn’t move, just laid there... gravity pinned me onto knife-shaped rock cutting deeper. voices yelling and then blackout. an hour later a motorboat came up the river. my friend argued with the pilots and finally said fuck it, i’ll pay whatever... my eyes were filled with blood. i didn’t want to negotiate. i wanted to survive. people come to the ganges to die, to be burned to ash and returned to it... i went there to be born again. my body burned in the sun for weeks, bruised and bloodied, barely able to walk. a hostel cleaned my wounds, gave me meds. i almost lost a limb to infection, but i survived. second life... new reason to live with purpose. this sunset feels like a homecoming. days end but life keeps moving... live hard. take risks, maybe not this risky. show up every day. put your whole body and heart on the line. you’re gonna win. my full set from rishikesh is out now

Every season I try to challenge myself and ask “what can I get better at and how can I reach that next level?” and this season has been a dream come true with being trusted with new opportunities that I hope is only the start. I got a phone call back in December two hours before our pregame production meeting that said “if the Wild win tonight, you’re going to do the live player interview on FanDuel so be ready.” The Wild ended up taking a 5-2 victory over the Dallas Stars and I was able to talk to Marcus Johansson. I was able to do that four times this season. Later this season I then got a phone call from the Frost to fill in and cover rinkside duties for their tv broadcast. My biggest pinch me moments from this season that I only dreamed about growing up here in Minnesota, to being a wide eyed kid working the St. Cloud State hockey broadcasts rinkside reporting, and now working for the hometown team. Grateful, blessed and more determined than ever to keep chasing down dreams. Now for some playoff hockey! 🤍🏒

A group of 5-10 white men, organized and fundraised with 800 people, to mobilize a vote of 17,421 people to breakaway and create a new city in my home town. And if more people had showed up, if more people had organized, we wouldn’t be here. To my folks in Atlanta. Take notice. There are people in this country who will do everything in their power not to be under Black leadership. Let’s be clear, what’s wrong with America wasn’t created by Black people. When you're building something entirely new, context changes constantly. Directions shift mid-week. That crucial context gets completely lost in Slack and becomes expensive misalignment that compounds daily. The science backs this up too. The Allen Curve shows communication drops exponentially beyond 8 meters apart. At 50 meters, it's less than weekly. This applies even to emails and calls - we communicate more with people we see in person. At wordware, 13 out of 15 are immigrants and we've formed stronger bonds in months than years of remote work. We're massively more productive, but more importantly - we're happier. My CEO hack: from 6-10pm, I move from my office (deep work zone) to our bullpen. Everyone can interrupt me, people overhear decisions being made, and chime in if they disagree. This ambient context-building is impossible remotely. My philosophy now: work with friends. Maybe fewer hobbies, maybe less free time, but you won't have a "job" in the conventional sense. You'll have a mission with people you actually want to spend time with. The next generation of AI tools won't be built on Zoom. They'll emerge from teams choosing to tackle the impossible together in the same room.

The Game opens up about surviving getting sh0t five times and spending nearly a month in a coma. He says he was robbed at the dope house at midnight after all the sales had stopped while he was playing Madden. The Cincinnati Police Department pulled over a woman whose car was being pushed by another vehicle after it broke down at a Shell gas station. BACKSTORY… I've been stuck at the Shell gas station on Reading Rd all motherfucking day and a random man pulls up and offers to push my car bumper to bumper all the way to my home so I didn't have to keep sleeping in my car because I didn't want to leave it while the night walkers were having a midnight festival right next to it. I ain't been able to work all day and I'm worried bout how my kids are going to get to school, feed them, feed myself, as well as my dogs then bills are due too. I use my car for work.
