At one moment, Tufts testified that Clancy had told her she was "worried she was close to having suicidal thoughts," and described that further as feeling "hopeless." Tufts then continued to read from her notes which stated that Clancy had gone to the emergency room "for SI" or suicidal ideation. When asked if that was different from what she described earlier as being "worried she was close to having suicidal thoughts," Tufts said she can't answer that with a yes or no.
