Right before Carl took his final breath, his eyes locked in at something for over a minute, he suddenly lifted his head, eyes still locked in, and made a big gasp. I can’t get his expression out of my head. It’s the closest I’ve ever been to the consciousness of another being. There’s something profound beyond this physical world.
