The Ohtani thing is ridiculous how he adjusts from one turn to the bat to the next. But, many pitchers must keep in mind that they are not throwing a great batter, but that Ohtani is a great pitcher too. The same thing they know, he knows it perfectly

I think what helps him a lot is that he’s a pitcher too

I remember during the WBC, the other team usually change pitchers right when Ohtani's on the next at bat. I think it's because of exactly this -- he learns and adapts quickly to the pitches. He'll get a hit next time. Great interview!
