Fact check: Ed Miliband did not say this at all, it was (check notes) the Telegraph’s interpretation of a suggestion to power down or switch off fridges overnight. Never let the truth get in the way though eh Nige. #Farage #ReformUK #ReformLies

EXCLUSIVE from Patrick Maguire on our podcast The State of It: * Sir Keir Starmer’s relationship with Ed Miliband has broken down to such an extent that the energy secretary has been accused of “ghosting” the prime minister in recent weeks * Senior government sources claimed that Miliband declined to take calls from the prime minister during a tense stand-off over defence spending * No 10 became increasingly concerned last week that Miliband could quit over the imposition of cuts on his department to fund defence spending * The State of It, the political podcast by The Times and The Sunday Times, has been told that Starmer attempted to contact Miliband repeatedly but did not receive a response. He was said to have been “ghosted” * This account was rejected by a source close to Miliband, who said that the pair did eventually speak and denied that Miliband declined to take the prime minister’s calls * Multiple sources said that Starmer and Miliband were barely on speaking terms and that the prime minister was “furious” at what he regarded as the energy secretary’s “betrayal” * Lara Spirit reveals that several cabinet ministers are weighing up whether to resign after the by-election in an attempt to force Starmer’s hand. Allies of Burnham suggested that Miliband was likely to be among them * The prime minister is said to have become increasingly “entrenched” as he prepares to fight any challenge from Burnham. Starmer sees himself as a “servant of the country rather than the party” and allies said he was determined to resist a “coronation” * An ally of Starmer said: ‘“It would be coup territory, it would profoundly undemocratic. We don’t really know what Burnham stands for or what he would do. Winning a by-election is very different to running the country. Win or lose, someone has to flush out his positions. Keir is becoming more entrenched’

UPDATE: Charlie Kirk Blood Spatter, Earpiece, or Necklace? This video is going viral from someone named RangeDayBro on YouTube, saying this is 100% evidence Charlie was shot in the head, BUT… it’s kinda wrong. I was the original person to point out that something looked like it hit Charlies right side of his head when it happened… when I first started looking, I thought the exact same thing he did about the “Blood Splatter”. But I kept slowing down the video, and discovered what appears to be an earpiece or necklace. He also gets the “FLASH” wrong, 100% wrong. Stating that’s where the shooter was.. then said he was hiding in the bush. After combing through video footage, I found what I believe to be 100% the muzzle flash. The shot did not and could not have come from that location because it’s merely the top window panel of the interior hall of flags (I think that’s what it’s called.) The muzzle flash was 100% a reflection off that glass panel from a far off distance, notably in the same general direction they said the shooter was. (See post below) Conclusion: Now, I’m not saying he couldn’t have been shot from anywhere else.. nor in any direction. In fact, I don’t buy the story at all that his neck bones stopped that bullet. As we saw that day, there were several distractions, which I feel played a significant role to allow the real people to get away. I’m only saying his suggestion about the “blood spatter” is just his earpiece or most likely a necklace... It’s important to be accurate and process eliminate these things. Maybe Turning Point USA can confirm if in fact his necklace did pop off, it could settle some of these “theories”. All we want is the truth.
