@nickshirleyy Your entire wishful theory might have been mildly plausible had they not tried to bustle kids in and out for cameras as soon as they were exposed. If it's just business offices, why were they bringing kids in the day after they were exposed?

@goodlawgic @nickshirleyy The majority of these places or not actual centers. The one may have been. Like I said fraud does exist, but it’s not this widespread issue that he pretends it is.

@goodlawgic @nickshirleyy 81% of Somali immigrants in MN are on taxpayer assistance. What these immigrant groups do all over the country is find a loophole and exploit it. Then they tell their friends and families to exploit them too. Costing US taxpayers billions yearly

@krassenstein @goodlawgic @nickshirleyy Every citizen who has a job and makes less then a certain threshold gets government assistance in the US, that's how it works.

@krassenstein @goodlawgic @nickshirleyy Why do we need immigrants who just take from the system? These aren’t citizens yet, they’re “refugees”

@delmoi @krassenstein @goodlawgic @nickshirleyy The vast majority aren’t considered refugees anymore and are American citizens. 81% still being poor after a few decades coming here poorer than dirt poor? 🤷‍♂️ …. Some could say nearly 20% pulling themselves out of poverty is kind of impressive.

@genpu10 @krassenstein @goodlawgic @nickshirleyy Also these people don't understand how the modern welfare system works, it's a supplement for the income you get at your job. Like if you work at Walmart, McDonalds, for low wages, you can also get food stamps on top of that. White people are the biggest beneficiaries

@nickshirleyy Your entire thread is completely wrong. He did not go to home daycare facilities. The license for the facilities are characterized as daycare facilities. There is a different license for home daycare facilities.

Brian Krassenstein profil fotoğrafı
Brian Krassenstein9 ay önce

@nickshirleyy The licenses are for the company not the locations. One company can have a license and run multiple locations or manage at home daycare.

Jammles profil fotoğrafı

Wrong again. Under Minnesota DHS licensing rules, a Child Care Center license is site-specific. That means: One license number = one physical location A single license cannot be used for multiple facilities Each additional location would require: A separate license number Its own inspections, capacity limits, and compliance history

@jammles9 @krassenstein @nickshirleyy Based on Minnesota DHS rules, child care center licenses are site-specific: one license per physical location. A single license can't cover multiple facilities; each site needs its own. See and Minn. R. 9503.

@RandomU94836 @jammles9 @krassenstein @nickshirleyy Glad that sparked a laugh! Yep, Minnesota's child care licenses are indeed site-specific—one per physical location, per DHS rules (Minn. R. 9503). Anything else on your mind?

@nickshirleyy This is a child care center. Not home day care. That would be a different code.

@nickshirleyy Do you understand the companies have offices in different locations than their main business in many cases, especially in cases there they run multiple different childcare centers or manage at home childcare?

Jammles profil fotoğrafı
Jammles9 ay önce

Of course I know that, however, this is the physical location of this particular center. At this location, they can house 99 children. You would know this if you read the violation letters. Home Day cares also will show “Home Day Care Facility” on the license as their requirements are entirely different.

@krassenstein @nickshirleyy Uhh isn't it describing the type of license they have, not describing services that exist at their office? And look at your screenshot. There's a clear gap between the sections. This whole section is referring to the license itself:

Nick Shirley presents himself as exposing “massive fraud,” but his entire premise relies on misunderstanding (or misrepresenting) how home daycare and home healthcare actually work in big cities. In Minnesota, as in many large cities, Somali families and many immigrant communities rely heavily on at-home daycares and at-home healthcare. This isn’t suspicious. It’s normal, cultural, and economic.

Brian Krassenstein profil fotoğrafı
Brian Krassenstein9 ay önce

So where does Shirley go to “prove” fraud? 👉 Administrative office suites for home daycare networks and home healthcare companies. - Not clinics. - Not actual childcare centers. OFFICES!

Brian Krassenstein profil fotoğrafı
Brian Krassenstein9 ay önce

Then he pretends these offices are supposed to have kids, parents, patients, or caregivers physically present, and when they don’t, he calls it suspicious. That’s like walking into a UPS corporate office and accusing them of fraud because there are no trucks inside.

Brian Krassenstein profil fotoğrafı
Brian Krassenstein9 ay önce

These locations exist to handle: • licensing • billing • compliance • scheduling • paperwork Care happens in people’s homes, not in the office.

Brian Krassenstein profil fotoğrafı
Brian Krassenstein9 ay önce

Of course the offices look quiet. Of course some are closed during parts of the day. Of course no one is “dropping off kids” there. That’s how the system is designed.

Brian Krassenstein profil fotoğrafı
Brian Krassenstein9 ay önce

Shirley also relies heavily on language barriers to cast doubt on owners and employees, people understandably confused why a random 23-year-old man is barging into an office demanding daycare or healthcare services that are never provided on site.

Brian Krassenstein profil fotoğrafı
Brian Krassenstein9 ay önce

He asks about “rates” even though many of these services are subsidy-based, meaning families don’t negotiate prices the way private customers do. That confusion is used as “evidence.”

Brian Krassenstein profil fotoğrafı
Brian Krassenstein9 ay önce

Are there real fraud cases in Minnesota? Yes, like every state. Does co-location, quiet offices, or home-based care prove fraud? Absolutely not. What Shirley sells as “investigation” is actually ignorance amplified by racial and cultural unfamiliarity. The tragedy isn’t just that it’s wrong, it’s that misinformation like this spreads faster than boring facts ever do. I hope this thread reaches even a fraction of the audience that his misleading videos did.

Based on Minnesota DHS rules under Minn. R. 9503, child care center licenses are site-specific, with capacity and required inspections (e.g., building and fire codes) applying to each physical location. A single license cannot cover multiple facilities; separate licenses are needed for each site, even under the same parent company.

@nickshirleyy How come “The Learing Center” is now saying they have kids from 2pm-10pm?

Jammles profil fotoğrafı
Jammles9 ay önce

That claim is false. These are licensed child care centers, not home daycares. They hold child care center licenses, which are entirely different from home child care licenses. The regulatory standards, capacity rules, and oversight are not even comparable. You can also verify this directly by looking at the licensed capacity for each location. The number of children permitted in each building is clearly documented. While a few locations he visited were office spaces, this post is misrepresenting the daycare centers themselves. It is not an honest description of what the licenses actually show.

Oh, look at this pathetic little Democrat bootlicker crawling out of his mom's basement to "fact-check" actual investigative journalism with his tired-ass excuses. Brian, you absolute f***ing clown—why do you hacks always rush to defend the democrats every time someone exposes how our hard-earned tax dollars are getting funneled into obvious fraud schemes run by the very communities your party panders to for votes? This isn't some "misunderstanding" about home-based daycares, you disingenuous prick. @nickshirleyy drove around Minneapolis and found "centers" that look like abandoned crack houses—misspelled signs, snow-covered driveways with no tire tracks, doors locked in the middle of the day, and zero kids or staff in sight—yet they're raking in millions from Medicaid and CCAP. And guess what? The FBI, DHS, and Kash Patel himself just surged agents into Minnesota to investigate exactly this shit, calling the prior $250 million Feeding Our Future scam (where dozens of Somali fraudsters got convicted) just the "tip of the iceberg." Prosecutors are saying billions—f***ingg BILLIONS—may have been stolen from autism programs, housing, childcare, and more, with most defendants being... wait for it... Somali immigrants your side loves to shield from any scrutiny. But nooo, your open-borders, welfare-exploding policies didn't just turn Minnesota into Fraud Central—they've most likely spread this cancerous sh*t to the 49 other states that desperately need the same goddamn investigations. Whistleblowers are already blowing the lid off similar Somali-run scams in places like Ohio, Maine, Washington, and beyond, with empty "daycares" and autism clinics billing millions for phantom services while real American kids get fucked over. How many more billions are we hemorrhaging nationwide because Democrats like Walz turned a blind eye for votes from blocs that keep electing radicals like Ilhan Omar? You're not "fact-checking," you're covering asses for corrupt politicians who let this fester for years because calling it out might lose votes. We the people are sick of funding luxury lifestyles, kickbacks and money laundered overseas while actual needy kids get screwed. Grow a spine, stop simping for fraudsters, and start demanding nationwide prosecutions like the rest of us patriots. Or just admit you're fine with taxpayers getting robbed blind as long as it buys Democrats power. Pathetic. #sstvi #bbvipks4 #WilliamEst #KengNamping

Misleading? No…that word is being used as a smokescreen. What’s happening here is a classic reframing tactic. Instead of disputing the documented outcomes…large scale fraud, improper billing, kickbacks, shell nonprofits, and federal clawbacks…the response shifts the argument to semantics. Rates. Subsidies. Administrative nuance. That’s not a rebuttal. That’s deflection. Here’s the objective reality. Multiple Minnesota programs tied to child care, nutrition, and social services were investigated by state and federal authorities. Hundreds of millions were flagged bro. Convictions followed. Assets were seized. That alone removes the word “misleading” from the table. Fraud is not a feeling. It’s a legal finding. The second trick is moral laundering. By saying “these are subsidized services,” the implication is that price scrutiny is inappropriate. That’s backwards. Subsidized programs demand more scrutiny, not less, because every dollar comes from taxpayers who exchanged hours of their life for wages. When inflated invoices and fake clients appear inside those systems, that’s not confusion. That’s evidence. And notice what’s missing. No denial of fraud. No denial of prosecutions. No denial of recovered funds. Just tone policing and narrative management. When the facts are bad, critics attack the messenger and redefine the crime as misunderstanding. Americans aren’t confused. They’re observant. They see the pattern. Work…tax…redistribute…fraud…lecture the people who paid for it. Then call anyone who notices “misleading.” That’s not fact checking. That’s narrative defense. #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove

Brian, I’ll give you a sliver of credit for at least engaging with the topic instead of ignoring it like most on your side. But respectfully, your long "fact check" thread falls apart under even mild scrutiny—it’s a classic case of building a massive strawman while downplaying staggering, documented fraud. Your core claim: Nick Shirley is "misleading" everyone by filming quiet administrative offices and calling it proof of fraud, because "that's how home-based daycare/healthcare works in immigrant communities." Weakness #1: That's not the actual evidence of fraud. No serious critic is basing the case solely on "empty offices look suspicious." The fraud has been proven in federal court: - Feeding Our Future alone: $250M+ stolen (78 indicted, 50+ guilty/convicted, including the ringleader). - Related schemes (autism centers, housing stabilization, home health): Hundreds of millions more, with federal prosecutors estimating potential fraud across MN programs could exceed $1B–$9B in taxpayer losses. - Defendants bought Lambos, mansions, overseas properties—while claiming to feed "ghost children" or provide nonexistent services. Shirley's videos highlight red flags that align with what investigators already confirmed through audits, bank records, and whistleblowers. Quiet offices aren't the "gotcha"—fake invoices, kickbacks, and inflated claims are. Weakness #2: You dismiss real fraud as "like in every state" and cultural norms. But MN's scandals are unprecedented in scale, and a 2024 Legislative Auditor report slammed state agencies (under Walz/Ellison) for systemic oversight failures—ignoring warnings, silencing whistleblowers, and hesitating due to racism accusations. Weakness #3: Your UPS analogy is clever but flawed. UPS offices don't bill taxpayers billions for undelivered packages. These entities billed for services/meals that never happened—proven in court. Weakness #4: Language barriers/confusion as "evidence" misuse? Fair point on gotcha filming, but federal juries convicted dozens based on financial trails, not awkward interviews. Brian, this isn't about stigmatizing Somali communities (leaders within it have been key whistleblowers). It's about accountability for massive theft under lax Democratic oversight. Defending the system instead of demanding fixes just looks like deflection. Like this sign—lots of "WARNINGS" posted, but the door was wide open for fraud anyway. Time to admit the failures and support real reform. 🇺🇸 #MinnesotaFraud #TaxpayerTheft #DemandAccountability
