Ratlam Division PRO Mukesh Kumar says, "...We also received the video through social media. We conducted an inquiry, and the concerned department confirmed that the location... The video falsely claims that it was a DEMU passenger train. That is completely incorrect. It was a goods train. The goods train was stopped at the home signal in accordance with railway rules because engineering work was underway ahead, and the signal had not been cleared. During this time, the person seen getting down from the train was a spare driver. The main loco pilot and assistant loco pilot remained inside the locomotive. Therefore, both claims made in the viral video, that the loco pilot stopped the train to buy snacks and that it was a passenger/DEMU train, are completely false and baseless. The video, which is being widely shared with captions suggesting an ongoing attack in Makarfi near Zaria, shows scenes of heavy gunfire accompanied by a voice-over describing troops repelling armed attackers. However, a careful review of the footage and audio has confirmed that the voice narration in the video was lifted from a previous military engagement involving troops of Operation Hadin Kai in the Timbuktu Triangle in Borno State, where soldiers were repelling an attack by fighters of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in January 2026. #WATCH | Mumbai: Regarding his meeting with MNS leaders, Dr Swapnil Dhanraj Nila, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Central Railway, says, Today at Central Railway, a meeting was held with MNS representatives. During the meeting, the railway presented three main factual points. First, regarding the shifting of the Dadar-Ratnagiri train: the train was moved from Dadar to Ratnagiri in 2021. The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has invited social media personality Dr David Nhunzva to report to the CID Law and Order unit to assist with investigations into alleged AI-generated content said to have damaged the image of the police. In a statement issued on 25 December 2025, the ZRP said Dr Nhunzva is being investigated for allegedly creating and circulating AI-generated videos that misrepresented the police. The police said the matter falls under the Cyber and Data Protection Act, Chapter 12:07, which criminalises the creation, distribution or publication of false or misleading information on digital platforms. “The ZRP reminds the public that the Cyber and Data Protection Act, Ch 12:07, criminalises creating, distributing or publishing false or misleading information on digital platforms,” the statement said. The police added that this includes “circulating deepfake videos, fabricated news, misleading claims, using digital platforms to humiliate, threaten or demean individuals or institutions and producing or sharing AI-generated content that misrepresents reality.” The police said it is in Dr Nhunzva’s interest to cooperate with investigators and report to CID Law and Order. The objection by the representative of India to Pakistan's mention of Jammu and Kashmir in the Arria Formula meeting was not surprising to us. India, as a party to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, has actually refused to implement the Security Council resolutions on this dispute, and has even refused to cooperate with the United Nations, including the good offices of the Secretary-General, and with all those mechanisms that form part of Chapter VI. As I stated in my statement, Kashmir is an international dispute. It is on the agenda of the Security Council. It was never a part of India, and it is not, and cannot be, part of India — because this was the core question at the heart of these Security Council resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir. The purpose was to determine the status of this territory: whether it wishes to be part of India or Pakistan. That status has not yet been determined, because the resolutions have not been implemented. To assert that Kashmir is a part of India is, in fact, itself a violation of the relevant Security Council resolutions. He was kicked against the door, which opened, leading to him falling out of the train that was travelling at 120 km/h. He remains in a critical condition in hospital. It may look dangerous or even illegal at first, but the loco pilot is placing stones on the rail to help the locomotive gain traction and avoid wheel slip. Normally, locomotives use sanders that automatically dispense sand onto the rails to increase friction between the wheels and the track.
