Stop eating meat!

free range is largely not a problem because they don't need tons of antibiotics to keep the pigs alive. Its the giant corporate farms that are causing all the problems

With Sub n' save, the #lowest #price meat jerky 🥓 in Amazon US is $0.92/Oz as per comparemarketplaces . com What is the price of🥓beef jerky 🥓 in your local market #jerky #ad

It's wild how profits are prioritized over public health.

Also production standards are an issue: For example In Hyderabad India, there is a lot of antibiotics production and lots of leakage or discarding bad lots into the environment -> resistant bacteria get an advantage growing in numbers and being picked up by the local population. You can get reserve antibiotics resistance in the population that way, before even deploying the product on the market. Even picked up by tourists and carried around the world. There are a few publications regarding from around 2017

I always wondered, but a vet told me animals aren't allowed to have antibiotics in their system for so many days before slaughter.

These guys are on the forefront of actual win-win environmental/health/animal welfare

We have a goldfish in charge of the world. There is no hope.

Luxury belief. Lots of people need cheap animal protein. They’re not going to give it up.

It would be nice if it was actually explained how the use in animal AG was creating human super bugs instead of just hand waiving away the crux of the matter to "trust the science" thinking. Give concrete examples. eg "This pig virus mutated into xyz human virus that jumped to humans in 2005" etc etc
