Trossard in 1st haf could have easily gone down when tarkoski made a sliding tackle but did not get anythng on the ball.But he stays on his feet. And then in 2nd half that is given as a penalty. That is what sportsmanship gives you. PGMOL and it's association of ref are absolute

@markgoldbridge As a Liverpool fan, I’ll loudly yell that this was NOT a penalty. Even if gave a foul…it was outside the box. And what the hell is VAR doing, anyway? Was that it a clear and obvious error for them to intervene? The refereeing in this league is a horrible joke.

This was a reputation penalty thanks to the noise / narrative in the media around an 18 year old being a "dirty" player. PGMOL getting their pound of flesh for the rescinded red card
