This is the problem with the Uk. The robbers see the home owner through the window and taunt him by saying “shoot then come on” knowing that the home owner has no defensive weapons. The robbers therefore know if they outnumber the homeowner they can overpower them. What makes it worse is that if the homeowner used any force that was not proportionate to the force used on him, he would be liable for prosecution. In your home you need to be able to protect yourself against an invader.

We had a time where home invasions was on the rise, seen it on the news a lot. So then I bought my Mossberg 500 persuader. Us disabled folks need an edge. We don't do so well hand on hand defense.
