This WAS interesting! I have worked in road infrastructure in Australia (so a lot of time road and street side), I even ran power to a few when being installed and have seen these EVERYWHERE, Australia, London, Ireland, the EU (continent) and always thought thy were just GOOD at the design.

If you're needing a national outdoor mafia (OOH), you can get the majority of coverage from JCD, Lamar and Outfront (CBS). Also, don't sit on cinema OOH. I'm biased because a recent employer has a perfect seasonal timeframe that runs into spring and early summer. Needles to say it absolutely crushed on the MMM (top 3 ROI).

Love this spotlight! JCD has a fantastic NAM footprint and even bigger one globally. If you’re a brand serious about leveraging OOH as a channel in BOS - NYC - CHI or SF - you need their street level footprint from a frequency standpoint

° SEGMENT ° UNIRONICALLY, one of the best remixes I have heard in a while. I'd consider this on par with the original Terminated, as it is fairly similar to it but has enough changes to keep it interesting and engaging. Plus, I personally prefer how GF sounds here!

So RIG Riot is basically mecha Risk of Rain that has Armored Core like controls. Main thing I'd hope improve would be menu/ui interaction/usability since it's fairly clunky. If you like AC & Risk of Rain you might like this. Personally not quite my jam but it's interesting.

This is a very interesting place, and I think fairly unique in China: a free trade zone that is jointly owned by China and Kazakhstan. I believe that both countries contributed a piece of land to create this place and you need to go through immigration/border control to enter here - which we did!

This dog owner says she did not practice this with her dog. She said she thought it would be interesting to see what she did if she asked her to do a fairly complex task. She even poked her head out so that she’s in the shot. 🤯 She’s like “okay I’m waiting for my picture!”😂 She is so smart! German Shepherds, dogs in general, are incredible. ❤️

Unfortunately tonight many of us cattle people feel like we’re about to go down with the ship Secretary. The fairly obvious pending situation with Argentina and beef imports is as deadly to the family Rancher as the Gail’s of November were to the Fitz. I wonder how many politicians shorted the cattle market rn?? Will be interesting to see the data on how much insiders make on this deal my friends!

First FSD intervention by robot*irl in this interesting edge case The car is so slow and cautious around pedestrians/cyclists that it will just wait and wait and wait Granted, it’s a fairly unusual traffic situation with a driver in front of us interacting with a traffic supervisor and a lot of bikes around the car Human Pilot would’ve gone through here with ease, but the robot under supervision of robot*irl just doesn’t wanna move an inch What could be the issue here? You think this is safe and desirable behavior by FSD or does it feel like an imposed restriction and unnatural anxiety of cyclists?

One smartphone at the core of a robot. The idea is simple but interesting: use a used smartphone as the main controller for a hobby robot, in this case a hexapod. Instead of adding separate boards and sensors, the phone already brings a lot of what robots need: - IMU and environmental sensors - WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular connectivity - Multiple cameras and GPS - Battery, display, GPU, and a fairly powerful processor All of this is already calibrated and supported by mature software tools and frameworks. What makes this approach worth looking at is not just convenience. It also reuses hardware that would otherwise end up as e-waste. Billions of smartphones are discarded every year. We had some technical issues, and some silliness (not unexpected) but overall I feel it was a good chat with Piers Morgan - who’s been in the news this week for alleged hacking, while I’ve been in it for alleged funding :) ... OK, in my case it’s defo true.. Avocados and Almonds, was the classic anti vegan hyper focus. Piers seemed unaware that these things grow in Spain - asked me how I knew that….. My fave part (if they keep it - it was a pre-record) was when he said "this is my interview Mr Vince, I’ll ask the questions" and I replied "this is our interview Piers, ours.." He avoided my baby cow question for an eternity, before kinda saying he was OK with the murder of baby cows so he could drink their mothers milk….. Will be interesting to see what parts of this fairly epic interview they use. I’m hoping for an honest edit.
