India’s health movement is going global! The packaged food crisis is not just an Indian issue, it’s a global issue. In April 2023, I made a difficult decision. I was living in the US for 13 years where the packaged food is quite terrible. But instead of focusing on solving the US packaged food industry, I decided to solve the Indian packaged food crisis. I returned back to India and started the Label Padhega India movement. While there is a lot of work left to do in India, I'm happy to see Label Padhega India slowly becoming Label Padhega Duniya. The entire world needs to wake up to the misleading marketing of junk food going on. This thread reminded me of Thiel's take on biology and the excuses of biologists for why we aren't solving hard problems (I have a biology background and work as a scientist and still agree with him). My take is that AI won't solve biology, but it will help us understand it at a deeper level. Saying that it is impossible is a lazy take. Saying that AI will solve all problems is a lazy take too. There is an in-between where AI will support and help scientists move things forward. I am really tired of the excuses of the gatekeeper boomer scientists and the hype of the AI bros.

If you want to be like MLK, do NOT try to “make HISTORY.” Instead, work to make a better FUTURE. When 33-year-old Dr. King spoke on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in 1963, he wasn’t chasing history books. He was speaking into existence a better “future” — one that seemed impossible at the time. He described a country that had never existed: one in which black and white children were living and playing together as equals. After 400 years of racial oppression, that vision must have sounded like science fiction – as fantastical as Star Trek or Star Wars today. But he helped speak aspects of that world into existence. That’s not the work of someone stuck in nostalgia. That’s the work of radical AFRO-FUTURISM. We need more positive futurists — of all shades and kinds — taking the stage today. NOTE: I gave this talk in 2025 at the John Hope Bryant “HOPE Global Forums,” on a panel chaired by T.D. Jakes

The goal is simple: move agentic software development off individual laptops and into a central hub where teams can see what agents are doing, review their outputs, and keep a traceable history of the work. Inspired by systems like Inspect/Open-Inspect, Minions, and Open SWE, I built Deputies on top of fks's Flue Framework. It’s designed to run in your own infrastructure and trust boundaries, with Slack/GitHub integrations and Daytona + Docker sandbox support.
