This still hurts to watch. Anguirus didn't deserve this

Fun (or not so fun) fact: This was Anguirus’ last appearance in any Godzilla film until 2004 with the release of Godzilla: Final Wars.

Everything about this was phenomenal. The fight, the score. Set a tone right away. Can’t help but feel bad for Anguirus though.

What Mecha-G did to Anguirus' jaw is still stuck in my head years later, brother didn't deserve that, which made that tin can's ass whooping that much more justified

As a kid this was one of my favorite, but most painful fights to watch. It broke my heart the way MG pummeled him then broke his face.

By far the coolest fight scene ever.

Probably the goriest Showa Godzilla. Very brutal. Gets his jaw ripped opened and then SLAMMED on the ground. Oof! Godzilla also gets fucked up. Falls in water and it bubbles blood, and then he becomes a literal blood sprinkler at the end. Surprised they let me watch this, lol.

I remember when a lot of people watched the gvk trailers and thought Godzilla attacking was fake Godzilla (mechagodzilla in disguise)
