Falcon has landed

53 years later… from Apollo 17 to Artemis II. Same ocean, different era. Not the end, this is just the beginning. 🚀🌙

We on Artemis ii fuk falcon

From ‘impossible’ to ‘routine’ faster than most people can update their worldview.

@leonard_per No matter how many times it happens, it is still unbelievably amazing.

“I’m actually the chief engineer of SpaceX, so I've signed off on pretty much all the design decisions. I don't have an aerospace degree. Like I said, I read a lot of books, talked to a lot of people and have a great team. And there's something that goes wrong with that vehicle, it's fundamentally my fault. We (me and my brother @kimbal ) had just one computer so the website was up during the day and I was coding at night seven days a week, all the time. I basically took all the money I made from PayPal, put it into SpaceX, Tesla and SolarCity. Bankruptcy, technically, was knocking at the door in 2008, but not before then. Because I had money from PayPal. It's just when I started running out of money from PayPal and the markets went into a recession, that's when bankruptcy was knocking at the door. From 2008 through 2012, bankruptcy was knocking at the door frequently.” — Elon Musk How it started How it going

Impressive but please remember the EU achieved a lid to a bottle that doesn't detach.

what’s something that never stops being fascinating is the sheer scale of these Falcon 9 boosters and how much precise they are

Elon, please buy @NASA 🙏 Sincerely, Gen X 👊😎

Meanwhile, on the Artemis feed

Elon Musk, Master of his trade, Outstanding !

Perfect landing 🥂

The physics of this still don't feel real. We used to throw these away. Now we just park them. Absolute madness.

I could watch this all night. Wish we could all put our differences aside and appreciate how fucking cool it is to be human.

What a perfect landing at LZ-40! 🔥 That booster came straight down through the fog like a champ. Another flawless recovery by SpaceX. Incredible to watch every time! 🚀

still wild that rockets land themselves and people are bored by it. we got so used to the future arriving we stopped noticing.

how elon sleeps every night

@EvasTeslaSPlaid Awesome 👏

It was a beautiful, landing

@TreyYingst Zoomed in on the falcon landing

Always amazing.

The mechanism of landing a Falcon

One of the coolest advancements of all time

USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Another step towards Mars!

@thereallivemary Beautiful.

Why does this look easier than parallel parking

Watching these rockets land in one piece continue to blow my mind & always will continue to amaze me 🤯🤯

Never gets old

This is gonna sound so wild, but I will never fully believe in space until I’ve been there myself… I know I know I’m an idiot, low IQ whatever you wanna call me But I need to see it to believe it until then. I literally think all of this shit is fake. I’ll say it. World’s biggest money laundering operation

Watching SpaceX is seeing what the future can be. Watching Artemis last night was cool, but it seemed so antiquated. It was like I had been transported back to my childhood.

Congratulations @elonmusk!! When NASA does this, I will be impressed!!!

genuinely one of the most repeated sentences in history that never gets old

Meanwhile, the NASA crew has already returned to Earth… 😂

Its still the coolest thing ever. It amazes me that Elon doesn't get more credit for whats been accomplished. Space travel costs what, about 10 cents on the dollar what it did 20 years ago?
