I wonder how the shader code looks like, is that a Kerr BH?

Yeah, it is a rotating BH, but also this is something i know almost nothing about, so I'm having it create tutorials for me lol.

I wonder how much it borrows from my shaders / post...

here's what it's saying. i've also made the code available at: maybe they trained on your shaders/post? i didn't ever point it toward your stuff and wasn't aware you had one on black holes until now

I dont think its capable of knowing where it learned these things. Also yep, the shader for the geodesic training is basically what I would write...

ok, i'll add a link to your post on next push. mostly was just making tutorials for myself to learn

Uh woah… this is amazing! I want a Gargantua black hole simulation my computer

Thanks! By the way here's another real-time optics simulation I have (not sure about the accuracy of either the BH or optics simulator yet). Do you see any way something like this can be useful for actual research and engineering if I work more on the accuracy, or other ways I could take this? Thanks!

As a professional laser/optics nerd this is really cool. In general the tools for ray tracing have terrible user friendliness for doing even basic simulations- so I am always interested in tools that can do actual physics based light analysis with an easy to use interface. Well done

CPU load?

Not much cpu but quite a bit of gpu (using WebGPU)
