Familiarity bias is crazy

No it's because that person doesn't respect you and will never hear and listen to you. I've experienced people like this, you spend energy giving them thoughtful honest good intentioned advice, and they NEVER LISTEN. But some random person says the same words and they listen.

In Nigeria it's called "see finish"

People don’t listen to the ones that r considered close to them because their relationship never got past infatuation. Love is not an emotion, it’s a spiritual attachment! It only holds truth, no lies or compliments to hide reality.
