I'm not sure which is worse. Being the first one to go or the last one left. The world is an extremely lonely place when everything and everybody you loved has gone before you. Growing old doesn't feel as graceful as people say it is. People forget you were young once and you had passion, love, hopes, dreams, and desires. Now they look at you as a burden, Irrelevant and unnecessary. It's horrible and it's painful and it's remarkably sad. Cherish every moment

Encouraging young adults to move far away for a job has been part of the Marxist agenda all along. Dispersed families do not reinforce family values, cannot be there for each other, drift into socialistic rationalizations.

Wait until your parents get old, then you'll see how your siblings really feel

“Do you suppose that I came to grant peace on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division [between believers and unbelievers]; [Matt 10:34-36] for from now on five in one household will be divided [over Me], three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” [Mic 7:6]” Luke 12:51-53 AMP Family IS everything, but our brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus are our true family. Division is necessary in most cases, and likely God ordained. Two paths are laid before each of us. One to Heaven (Jesus) and another to Judgement by eternal fire (Denying Jesus). This is what divides family. This doesn’t mean that we don’t love our family, but we love them enough to tell them about Jesus and to choose LIFE. 💕🙏✝️

@CommieCt Not everyone has been blessed with a family they can laugh with. Some of us come from homes we do not want reminders of. Be grateful if you have family you can laugh with & while you are judging those of us who don’t, remember we are grateful that we can laugh without them.

My mother raised us that the only ones we will know from birth to death are our siblings and we’d better take care of each other. She never let us go to bed angry because “God never promised a tomorrow.” We all took that to heart and we are still best friends.

I can't. All my siblings are dead. And it's painful beyond my ability to describe. If you still have yours, reach out to them often. And don't sweat the small stuff with them. Just be grateful they are still here. 💜

Unless it's nothing. Sadly, some families are toxic. Breaking free breaks the cycle. Perhaps, what springs forth ... becomes family.

What if your sibling tormented, tortured, and abused you like a pow and adulthood was the only thing that freed you but left you battling ptsd for a really long time until Jesus found you? Asking for a friend

They also don’t warn you that sometimes blood relatives are not the people they use to be & you have to remove yourself for self preservation.

They have made keeping in touch with family ALMOST impossible! Working, moving to cities far away for either work, wages, or affordability. Sure, you can talk or text, but it's not like being there in person. Used to be families stayed in their communities, not anymore.

Honestly none of mine were really good people back then and in later years they don’t care either. Steal from you, or other accuse u of stealing and when she finds out who it really was there’s no “I’m sorry. I fucked up” just act like nothing happened for 30 years 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm the youngest of 6 & we are all in our 60s. We haven't been together in decades unless for a funeral. 2 weeks ago we had our first reunion. All 6 + extended family together for 10 days. It was beautiful, amazing. Still my best friends!!

All childhood siblings aren’t like that. You can be complete strangers in a family. Parenting is more than making humans.

Family should be everything. The relationships should be close & loving. Unfortunately, not all of us have those types of memories to cling to.

When a family matriarch or patriarch dies, you get to enjoy a new version of family you never saw before. You will see greed, anger, resentment, dishonesty, and regret manifest and work to tear people apart. I've watched this a dozen times with friends and family. Fighting over nothing, even the seemingly closest families. It seems almost avoidable, for many. Every chapter is different.

One pathetic sad thing is when some siblings compete as if what they have makes them better. It's too bad that siblings don't stay close and actually form bonds of strength together. Your material crap doesn't leave with you, but memories do. Evil shit by siblings is remembered.

It's BECAUSE I know her best that I stay away. NO ONE deserves her wrath. It's self-preservation for me or become another one of her casualties. No thank you.

He is right, but I do not really talk with whatever is left of my family. While that's not right, I have my own reasons to do so. It will hurt when they will no longer be, but you can't change for someone or ask them to change for you,I'll let people live their life and be happy.

I’m blessed. My 4 sibs and I live in 5 cities in 3 states. Yet we all talk on a weekly or biweekly basis. Every Christmas we have a fam party. We range in age from early 50s to 60. Our parents died a year apart at age 56 and 57. We swore not to grow apart to honor their memory.

They all have to reciprocate. Family starts with the parents that instill the value of family and staying together is far more important.

Unless your sister is so dam green eyed and can’t stand your success! She can’t even asked how your depressed child is in treatment. Money doesn’t fix everything and even the rich struggle and need their siblings. Sad she doesn’t see our pain and has no real friends

We 7 siblings text each other every single day. It's usually an ongoing, all day thing, too! On top of numerous calls during the week. The youngest of us is 55 & the oldest is 72. We treasure one another. Always have. Always will.❤️
