We have truly lost all signs of life, and we are living days that are more like death than life. Our only concern is what to do to relieve our children and furs of the pain of hunger and thirst so that they stop crying and screaming. What crime did we commit to deserve this? When the bombing intensifies and gets closer to us, I hug the cats and we all feel safe and I am certain that God will protect me because I will not abandon the innocent cats, so God will not abandon me and will protect me and my family. How tragic it feels when a little voiceless creature find himself homeless and surounded of fire and bombs, then he hides but not for long time because hunger will force him to risk and seek for food and water, But where to find it while everyone suffer starvation! His love and longing were stronger than his hunger. Instead of rushing to eat, he came closer… just to greet us and say thank you in his own special way. He is thanking you, dear friends. I feel like my body now runs on anxiety and at night I am heartbroken to hear the crying and barking of the poor animals, who are terrified of the planes and the nearby bombings. I wish I could do more for them, and I miss the days when I had access to plenty of food to give them. The markets are empty now, merchants are relentless in their pricing and they have less available each time I go. We are all in a great deal of despair, my friends. Hundreds of people die trying to get aid every day, and yet, it will soon be my only chance to save my family and friends from starvation. Please help us, my friends. It is only with your generosity that we might pay the insane prices and avoid this terrible fate. Every soul in this nightmare relies on people seeing our terrible situation and choosing to extend us great kindness so that we might live. 🙏💔😢It has now been 65 days since aid has crossed the borders, 65 days since a single piece of food or medicine or even water was allowed to enter into 💔🇵🇸😞#Gaza. The markets are empty and deserted, visiting them is a great risk, and there is nothing there worth going for anyway. 🫂 I am feeling physically better than I was previously, my friends. The terrible pain and fatigue that seemed to settle in every corner of my body has lightened, but the terrible situation we are in weighs down on us heavier than ever, and the news only continues to point us towards our certain death. I'm unsure what to even say to you some days. It's hard to convey the urgency of our request when we ask you for help, that people will die before our eyes if we cannot continue to operate the kitchen, and that every day we have to choose who to help and who to refuse. It's like we're living in hell or something arguably worse. My friends and I wish to continue to help the desperate hungry people with food and water, but we urgently need more donations to do this. I want to look after my family, too, and the cats in my shelter, which is becoming increasingly difficult every day. Please help us, my friends, I hate to beg but we are dying and we desperately want to live and to help others to live too. Things have never been this bad, please stand by us and support us if you can. We desperately need donations, and more than anything, we need lots of aid to come in and this cruel war to end. 🙏🫂Our kitchen was visited by a lot of people today. We work very hard to help others every day. Nobody who visits our kitchen can afford the meal we serve them. In North Gaza we can only buy food on the black market and the prices are astronomical. We are exposed to terror and hunger every day here. We are exhausted and our bodies are weakening. Our children are sad. Most of the elderly and women look sickly and worried. All we have left in Gaza are painful memories and feelings. We have no hope other than your charity after God, my friends. It is a sad truth and I wish things were so different. I hate begging you, but I do beg you, please help us, please be there for us. Please support us financially. Please let me take care of the people in my community, help me feed the cats, and help me save Mahmoud. He is a dear friend and brother-in-law, my wife loves him very much and I would love to help her bring her brother to Egypt, as you helped me save my sister. He is a wonderful uncle to my children and if I’m honest, I think he might be their favourite. If not, they still adore him and I would love to make them happy, and of course I especially want to make my dear friend Mahmoud happy. We are losing hope, my friends.
