Fandom ... nothing like it. I'm not sad. I'm thrilled again. #LFGM

Zach Lowe, let me introduce you to a team that matches all of the qualities you love about your Mets fandom: the Brooklyn Nets. Welcome, brother

Just those plucky underdogs with the highest payroll in sports. Very new york take (which is fine but ftm)

Yeah lil buddy, I can tell the copium in your eyes 🤣🤣🤣

How people treat winning and losing as a fan says a lot about a lot

hornets 2026 is our year!!!

Insert clippers and that’s the same feeling I have for my team since the closs days in middle school. Love this and 1000% feel you

Just awesome … welcome back to baseball! Hope you were reading @BaseballAmerica back when I was there

Felt this way watching Jayson Tatum and the Celtics reach the mountaintop, rooting for you to get to enjoy being a baseball fan an not just an elite basketball ball knower

I just hope it happens because I leave this earth

I love that optimism, as a Minnesota sports fan, the idea that, "They are going to win at some point" is just wild to me!!! Like, hopefully they have a fun season, make the playoffs, and don't get embarrassed, until at least the second round. That's the sweet spot!!!

Beautifully said, from a fellow Mets fan. Just curious: did you follow 2024? 2015? Because the vibes were off the charts those two years. Hope you got to enjoy them too.

Fandom matters because of the people we share it with…

People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

Good perspective Thanks

If you have not checked them out you should definitely check out @WhyMetsPod or do a Mets corner with them.

As a fan of the Mavs and experiencing the highs of 2011 after the devastating other moments in Dirk's career --you are very correct
