This has been done for generations in my family I remember growing up My great grand parents kept cash in a hole In their mattress My grandparents kept cash in a cookie tin can My parents kept cash in a safe. And my dad always taught me and my 3 older siblings always keep cash in your home and travel with cash . This behavior stems from years of systematic racism .

It's not just a black thing. It's older people philosophy. They were taught to not trust the banks, so always keep cash as a backup. My white Irish/German parents keep cash in a safe and still have cash on them. I'm a little over 50 and I keep cash with me or in my car. Yes I have cards but there are times when the electricity is messing up down here thanks to bad storms where that cash comes in handy.

Isn't taking money from your campaign and using it for personal things a felony? Asking for a friend 🙋‍♂️
