Such a waste of talent to have the best racing drivers in the world calculating energy deployment instead of challenging the limits of physics. The current trend if not reversed, will only lead to replacement of the human drivers by AI, because those error prone meat sacks only weigh down the car. How do IMSA GTP and Indycars manage to incorporate a hybrid element which is seamless and needs no driver intervention?

Yeah, us guys tried to sit down and watch over a bbq recently and ended up basically ignoring the TV. It's bad. It's really bad. I guess we'll have to find another way to replace those races on my back lanai pool area. Probably just turn the TV off completely. @F1 is screwed.

The downfall of F1 started when they outlawed refueling. They made fuel economy super critical and like so many other bad moves, sold it on safety. Somehow, every other form of racing can refuel but the “pinnacle of racing” can’t figure it out.

Been into f1 since Nigel Mansell, this season I watched just 20mins of the Chinese GP & organically found myself off doing housework instead of watching it. It’s very simple: this is not f1 racing. And all the Orwellian tactics in the world won’t make it f1

I stopped watching because the announcers keep praising batteries and talking about dirty air from gas. It’s like they have to speak negatively about gas and positively about batteries a certain amount of times for each live stream.

Been watching F1 as an American for 45 years. Haven't watched one second of this trash. And I used to wake up early or stay up late to watch it religiously. This is not racing...its a green loon farce.

I have been watching F1 since Ricardo Patrese was still on the grid. from 1991 till 2026. I have now ended my F1TV subscription as this has nothing to do with racing anymore. I fully agree with your statement about synthetic fuels. Put V10's in running on that fuel!

Spot on comment/I’m over 66 year old I’ve been a huge fan for 60 years I wanted to be a F1 mechanic in high school the last 8 years and this year in particular is unwatchable please this electric BS is not racing it just crap return to naturally aspirated engine and real racing
