Six months of Bruno waiting at the door with the specific patience of a dog who knows the list says morning and trusts that morning will happen because she said it would. Some mornings I get dressed on autopilot. Some mornings I don't remember deciding to get up. I just find myself at the door with my coat on and Bruno's leash in my hand. She knew. Many have asked why I have been so silent these past weeks. I'm heartbroken to say my beautiful, darling wife passed away on Thursday. She had held my heart in her hand from the first moment I saw her and we shared 36 wonderful years together. She had bravely battled cancer with courage and fortitude for many years yet still never lost the ability to light up a room with her beautiful smile, her wonderful sense of humour and her laughter. Not once did she give up the hope for life. I truely believe there is more to this existence than we know and that one day we shall be reunited by our love for each other, a love that was so honest and so real and so true. Until then I shall hold her tightly in my heart. When my daughter and I returned home from the hospital a red rose had appeared in our garden. It was right outside our door and had appeared from nowhere in a clump of dry weeds. Red roses were my wife’s favorite flower. She wore 3 in her hair at our wedding and carried a bouquet of red roses. I had asked her to send me a sign before she passed to say she was ok. It must have been sent by her. You will stay forever in my heart until we are together again my darling ❤️

I sent my nude to my friend's girlfriend by mistake and her response was "I'll ride on it regardless" and sent me this video. I was so shocked. One last thing I would like to say is about the Grand Sports Day. Charlotte seemed quite down from the beginning. Granted, maybe she was tired, but her usual spark just wasn’t there, and I assume it had to do with that person. Nevertheless, she did what was asked of her and didn’t let it show on camera or when interacting with her fans, because she is a professional. Her mood gradually improved as her friends kept lifting her spirits, especially when she interacted with that kid. You could clearly see she was happier again and kept fighting through, because that is how real and grateful she is for her fans, friends, and all she has right now. Yesterday, someone should have said something right there and then, because what he said was completely untrue. She was the one who collected the balls to help the staff. She came to help us get some air after one of the games by using the fan, because that is who she is. A considerate, kind, professional person who always thinks about others first and tries to fight her demons alone because she would not want to bother anyone with it. Angie….Wow. This has taken me a couple of days to digest. I had the pleasure of knowing this queen since the very beginning of my true musical journey. I was looking for a background singer and sax player for my first club tour and she walked into my life at an audition. I instantly knew that I was in the presence of greatness. We did a tour together and became family. Being from down south (as we called it) she reminded me of my grandmother and her people who were from a small town in Georgia. We bonded over music, humour, and southern cuisine which she cooked with great joy. She knew her food tasted better than everyone else’s and it did. She had a phrase that I loved, "Lenny, I am overly confident". She believed it and so did I. She went on to become Angie Stone and changed the face of music as a solo artist, becoming known as the queen of neo soul. She already had an illustrious past but this was now HER time. As a black woman who was told she was not the right age, not the right look, etc she busted through and never looked back. The rest is history. Writer, producer, arranger, musician and master vocalist. The best of the best. I got to play on some of those great recordings and they are treasures in my mind and spirit. My deepest condolences to Diamond, Michael Jr and the entire family. LK

My baby was diagnosed with a heart condition at birth! He had ASD, a hole in his heart. If it didn’t close on its own, it’ll have to be corrected with a heart surgery. Lol. There is no cry that I did not cry, because I believed it was my fault. Maybe it was because I skipped taking my prenatal vitamins on some days, or the day I took a little alcohol, or my goiter issue, or my O- blood group. I’ve been compounding anti-heart failure regimen for others, reassuring worried parents as I gave them medicine for their days old infant, but now, I was compounded those same medications for my own child. Life 😂. My husband and I did not tell anyone initially, not even our parents. It was part of the reason I was always fighting my mum when she’ll bring herbs, and this, and that, during omugwo. It took two months but the hole finally closed, and that was the first time I breathed freely since I had my baby. That baby turns two today, so you can understand how emotional I am. He is healthy, strong, active, and an overprotective big brother. I am grateful. Happy birthday my small ashuluku 🎂❤️

I didn't hear Penny call my name at the finish line. And tjo shem she tried. I think I know why I didn't hear her shout my name.....My goal was an 11:15 - 11:20 finish. We started in batches of 3 and I was in the 3rd wave. Out of habit, I switched my Garmin off twice at a water point and forgot to switch it back on for a while. My timing was off and I had no idea what time it was. I wasn't worried as I knew I was comfortably ahead of cut-off. At 72 kms, I heard a fellow runner tell another that "We have 2 and a half hours left to finish. We will come in at 11:10." Silly me didn't realize that these were group 2 runners and they had started earlier. Which meant I had even more time to finish and I'd caught up with many Group 2 runners. I had judged myself according to their progress. As I came closer to the finish line I saw the Group 3 clock say 10:58:22. I was stunned, mentally frozen so I switched off and chased my bronze medal with 1 minute 7 seconds to spare. A 10:58:53 finish was satisfying.

Minutes later...Those same type of images popped up on my TikTok feed. I was having stomach issues, then videos pop up about stomach issues. I think about a scene in a movie...That exact scene pops up on my TikTok feed. These phones 100% read our thoughts. ==== I went to my nieces for Christmas dinner. She explained how she was making the prime rib, rubbing in the spices into meat. Preheating the oven to 500 degrees, cooking for 20 minutes, then turning the heat off the rest of the way. I came home, opened up my phone, and a TikTok opened up describing exactly what my niece said... FYI...The phone was not with me at my nieces. Just sayin'

I genuinely cannot understand how someone can watch this story and still stand there, looking at two women, and somehow decide that the wrong one is the victim. On one side, you have a girl (Yıldız) who has been mistreated her entire life. Since the moment she was born, she was treated like a sacrifice for a conflict she was never even part of and later we find out that this conflict never even existed. Her right to study was taken from her. She was pushed into a marriage at a very young age just imagine being six, seven, eight years old, living in fear of being tied to someone you don’t even know. She was treated like a servant in her own home, by the very people she thought were her family. And just when she gets close to the happiness she dreamed of, the man she was engaged to shows up with another wife. She gets mistreated by that wife, by his family, and even (unintentionally) by him, because he was trying to run away from his own feelings, and that only caused her more heartbreak. The whole world was literally against her. She fought through all of that, only to find out in the end that everything she suffered for was based on something that wasn’t even real. Her entire life was built on a lie. That she isn’t even part of that family that she has literally no one in this world. Now on the other side… You have a girl (Melek) who, yes, was taken from her biological mother but she was raised by loving parents. She had everything anyone could wish for: education, freedom, a happy childhood, a healthy environment. She lived her life, fell in love, went out, made choices and no one questioned her, no one controlled her. And then what did she do? She found out that her man was engaged to another woman before marrying her (and even saw him marry her) and instead of holding on to her dignity, she chose to stay, to fight for a man who lied to her, to hold onto a marriage he tried to end multiple times. She used her unborn child to keep him tied to her. She lied constantly, and her excuse was that she was “protecting her marriage” a marriage that was already broken from the moment Serhat removed that ring at the airport in episode one. She tried to hand Yıldız (a woman who had already suffered enough) over to dangerous people. Then she found out the truth about her own birth (that her father ra*ped her mother.)And still no empathy. No moment of humanity toward her own mother. All she cared about was herself. And even though none of this had anything to do with Yıldız, she still found a way to blame it on her. Instead of holding her father accountable, she went and made a deal with him to get rid of Yıldız. She literally made a deal with the devil just to hurt Yıldız one more time. And after all of that… you want me to feel sorry for her? You want me to call her a victim? I honestly cannot believe we are living on the same planet with people who see this and still say, “she’s the victim.” Not morally. Not logically. Not emotionally. Although I was only her rider in races, she was always gentle and welcoming to me even at the stable. She was also kind to my family. So many memories come rushing back — all because she was there.
