Every word of this. I remember learning this as a footnote in AP Modern European Studies but had forgotten its importance. Jim Crow was the model for the Holocaust.

BRILLIANT!! And I never knew/learned that Nazi Germany followed the Jim Crow laws.

who is this? would love to follow them

A lot of people missed it when America told China to stop their shit with the Uigher muslims. China instantly told America "what about you & how you treat your Black & LGBTQ citizens"

@SaltySour3 White supremacy encompasses so much paranoia against anything that is "other". This is definitely not new, this is the same playbook applied to a particular group to generate fear and hate.

Know what sucks. We black people have to listen to countless post like this all the while fighting for us as a people and not being taken seriously. Then we have to see post like these get accolades from people, and when we say something we’re considered ungrateful.

Everyone must read CASTE: The Origins of Our Discontents by Isabel Wilkerson. In it I learned that the Nazis studied U.S. history, particularly regarding treatment of Black and Indigenous people, to fine-tune their genocidal plans. BUT LYNCHING WAS A BRIDGE TOO FAR FOR THE NAZIS.

@midnightman352 Everyone should watch Ken Burns documentary Holocaust in America on @PBS It will chill you to the core how complicate the US was through our immigration policy.

I always try to bring this up
