First, why rebrand? Sure an “arcade” is charming, in the way dial-up internet was... But nostalgia doesn't disrupt industries. Remix is about building the platform that will replace app stores and change game creation forever. The upside is exponential, not sentimental.

Right now, gaming is basically a hostage situation: ◼ App stores take 30% ransom off the top ◼ Marketing budgets are bigger than dev budgets ◼ Making a fun game is the last priority You get a pipeline of the same recycled cash grab clones.

And even when you do find something worth playing? ◼ Download the app ◼ Install 5 patches ◼ Make an account ◼ Click through 19 popups ◼ Get spammed for your credit card If you hate it, congrats, uninstall and do it again.

Remix couldn’t have existed 6 months ago. But AI finally caught up with our delusions: ✅ No installs. Just tap to play. ✅ No app store overlords. Discover the best, not the richest ✅ No degree required. Prompt in plain English And it’s already catching fire.

During our Farcade era (can we call it that already?) we reached... ◼ 500,000 players ◼ 800+ games released ◼ 18 million games played With $0 in marketing spend. People are hungry for this.

This is the social media of gaming. The same way that Hollywood is losing marketshare to YouTube and TikTok, traditional game developers will be replaced by Remixers. For the first time, speedrun your way to virality as a developer.

Here's a quote from @InsideTheSim, one of our builders. "I never let myself pursue writing games because my brain would lock up with 'What’s the point? No one will play it.' The Farcade solved the distribution problem and now thousands of people play the games I make. I went from 0 games to 6 in two months, and I'm having a blast."

Traditionally, this is what game creation and marketing look like 1. Go to school to learn Unity 2. Spend years building a game 3. Throw it away because it sucks (the first one always does) 4. Try again 5...

5. Get 3 friends to play it (if you have 3 friends) 6. Beg publishers for attention 7. Get ghosted 8. Google “what is performance marketing” 9. Realize you need millions of dollars and that's where most indie games die.

The next era of gaming won’t be locked behind paywalls or gatekeepers. Games will be made and shared Like memes. Like videos. Like music. And you’ll build them with your friends.

You: “I created a parkour platformer, try it!” Friend: “I added portals that randomly teleport you.” You: "I built a haunted house game" Friend: "Love it. I remixed it so all of the ghosts are our highschool yearbook photos."

Game creation is finally social. Making games is now as fun as playing them. Inside jokes become playable worlds, and memes go viral in a brand new way.

Remix is already... The #1 gaming app on @worldcoin app The #1 gaming app on @farcaster_xyz Soon the #1 gaming app on @base Wallet And our standalone app is coming soon.

We're still onchain, too. If you're looking for exposure to the Remix ecosystem (built on base) the three best things to do are 1. Play with your friends 2. Build a game 3. Refer people who would like it Here's what we're rewarding at TGE:

You can already build and play over 800 games created by our community. The AI tools are the best they've ever been, and the worst they'll ever be. The games will only get more fun, and higher quality. Get started on Remix(dot)GG
