EDDIE FARNSWORTH, DAVID FARNSWORTH, & LORI FRANTZVE (ERIKA FRANTZVE KIRK'S MOTHER) were all connected to Arizona Senate Bill 1476 (SB 1476) in 2014. The bill required the Arizona Division of Emergency Management (DEMA) to develop and post public preparedness recommendations for electromagnetic pulse (EMP) events, focusing on supplies like food, water, and medical items. David Farnsworth (R-Mesa) served as the primary sponsor in the Senate, along with co-sponsors including Sens. Nancy Barto, Chester Crandell, and others. Lori Frantzve, then CEO of GTEC Industries (an EMP/network security firm), presented a PowerPoint and spoke in support during the House Public Safety, Military and Regulatory Affairs Committee hearing on March 19, 2014.
