Fasting is not abstinence from food fit for meat (for eg, “of the tree th@ is good for food” n “of the tree of life”), bt abstinence from food not fit for meat, namely “of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” This represents the Father’s perspective on fasting, but man's.
